Description
The Covenant Empire was a theocratic hegemony made up of multiple alien species that maintained control over a large portion of the Orion Arm. At its heart, it was a political, military and religious affiliation.

No, in lore, It is called "The covenant empire". Humanity called them "The Covenant" as A shorthand. Read the lore

Also, I suppose I should clarify that I decided to make the Capital of the faction Sangelios considering the prominence of the Sangheili when they were members of the Covenant and the fact that High Charity is really a space station, not a planet.

Ha, thanks. That might be a good point. Although, I believe it was Halo Nation which I used referenced it as the 'Covenant Empire'. Initially, I was in the same boat as you when it came to the name.

Grammar Nazi here; the "Empire" at the end is not only unessecary but confuses the meaning of what a "Covanent" is. "The Covanent" is a proper title for a faction, adding anything else would make it improper.

Saying "The Covanent Empire" is basically like saying "The Kingdom Empire" or something similarly redundant.

I look forward to playing them though, I've always liked the Halo lore. Cheers!
