Arma 3 How to install and play mods.

Have you wondered how to intall and play mods on Arma 3?Look no further.

How to install mods(Overview)

So there are multiple ways to install mods in to Arma 3 i will show you 3 ways in this guide.
Workshop(Steam)
PlayWith6 withsix.com
armaholic www.armaholic.com

If you install mods through armaholic you will need something to extract the files with.
I recommend using 7-Zip or WINRar.
7-Zip www.7-zip.org
WINRar www.rarlab.com

NOTE:Check if you have either of these on your computer (for me 7-Zip came with my pc)

How to install mods(armaholic)

Step 1: Choose the mod you like to install.
Step 2: After you have installed the file(s) go to your extracter(7-Zip,WinRar etc).
Step 3:Extract the file(s) to your Arma 3 folder by default: Steam SteamApps Common Arma 3
Step 4:Now go to Steam start the launcher and go to the mods tab then go to local mods and pick the mod(s) you want (if the mod doesnt show up in here go to the Arma 3 file Steam SteamApps Common Arma 3 and find the mod there and drag it into to the box on the launcher)
Step 5:Have fun!

How to install mods(playWith6)

Step 1:Install playWith6 link on overview.
Step 2:In playWith6 go to Arma 3 tab add a new collection (name it whatever you want) then go to mods tab on Arma 3 tab pick your mod(s).
Step 3:Install the mod(s)
Step 4:Launch Arma 3 through playWith6 (you can lauch it also through steam if you want to do this do this go to arma 3 launcher and pick the mod(s) or if te mod(s) doesnt show up go to Steam SteamApps Common Arma 3 and drag the mod(s) to the box on the launcher.)
Step 5:Have fun!

How to install mods(WorkShop)

This is the easiest.
Step 1:Go to Arma 3 WorkShop on steam
Step 2:Subscribe to the mod(s) you want
Step 3:Go to Arma 3 Launcher and check the mod(s) you want to use
Step 4:Have Fun!
