Introduction

Are you a scout lover?, do you enjoy playing scout?, well this guide will help you improve you gameplay and become a better scout. This guide will also teach you the basics of scout and somethings about the scout.

Basics of The Scout

The scout is a very mult-facted class, playing sout is a very enjoyable time. The scout is the fastest class in the game so this is something that you should use to your advantage, the scouts speed can help you run out of fights , confuse enemey. Not only is the scout the fastest class in the game but he has the ablity to double-jump(double tapping spacebar) , you can also you this to your advantage , your double jump can be used to confuse the enemey , jump into flanking places and also confuse sentrys. The scout has alot of aspects which makes it a great class to play. The scout is a class that flanks the enemey , so you aren't going face to face with an enemey your coming from behind or the side, the scout also helps in killing low health enemeys. Watching gameplay of scout will help you understand the scout better.

Scout Load Outs and What to Use

The scouts main weapon are his scatterguns, he has 5 scatterguns which are his normal scattergun , Force-a-Nature , Baby Face Blasters , Back scatter and Soda Popper. The scouts secondarys include differernt types of pistols , Flying guillotine, Bonk atomic punch , Crit-a-cola and his mad milk. And lastly his Melees different types of bats , holy mackerel , candy cane , sun on a stick. The primary that is reconmended that you use to be a successful scout is the scatter gun , pistol and any bat of your choice , this is the scouts basic load out and it deals lots of damage , you can also replace the scattergun with the baby faces blaster , but you can't really use the scouts double jump when it is equiped. You can also change the secondary to the guillotine and the melee to the sandman ( type of bat ) , the sandmans stuns the player and once you throw the guillotine it will deal 150 damage. These weapons you can mix and match and play with the weapons you prefer, but i strongly suggest the loadout i had mentioned earlier.Here are some of the weapons the scout has .The Scouts weapons deal a high amout of damage which is why you should practise taking your aim, which will be explained.

Scout techniques and tatics

As you guys can the scout is very complex class, he is the fastest and has the ability to double jump. In this part of the guide you will learn tatics about scout and some nice techniques to win a battle. There are alot of things you can do to fool enemeys , most things that enemeys think is that when a scout is gone they won't come back, but the scout does end up coming back , and that is technique you can use to kill then enemey. A scout is a flanking class , so when playing take routes to the enemey line and attack from behind. Another aspect about scout is that you have your double jump, when killing enemeys jump around to confuse and knock their aim off but you will also have to practise your aim to be jump around which i will explain in the next part. Jumping around is the main part in scout and the way to winning a battle , this also helps you when facing a soldier because your jumping around will dodge his rockets. When playing scout always pick off those low health class or defenseless classes and always move around or snipers will pick you off a standing scout is a dead scout. Other techniques you can use is jumping over the enemey which will confuse them since they don't expect to ever aim up in the game. Improving your aim

Your aim is very important when playing scout or any classs in TF2. There are many ways to improve your aim , one way is to download this map called tr_walkway , this map spawns bots and you can practise jumping around them and hitting them. You can also change your sensitivity and make lower or to your perfered sensitivity. Other ways to improve your aim is to play against a friend and practise hitting them. There isn't really anything to add about aim but saying to practise on tr_walkway and you will get better.
