Starting Out
What class to choose and how to level up. *BTW if the guide's pics and text look wonky just refresh the page*

The best thing you can do to start out is choose boomer or lunar lancer. Eventually if you stick with it you will get more classes, so don't worry about being stuck with that class forever. You just need 1 chaos core to make other starter classes and 3 to make advanced classes, as well as some random other ingredients. Once you get 3 chaos cores, I would buy the shadow hunter, now you are going to want to wait until your 5k pr and have a class gem key to use it, but once you are, switch everything over to shadow hunter and get the class gem and wreck uber 8 and 9. Until then, all of the classes I just mentioned should be able to solo most adventure worlds at the minimum pr requirement.

Whenever you are leveling you will want to rush the dungeons. What this means is to just go all the way to the boss, bypassing all the smaller mobs and killing the boss, and getting the loot and leaving. Killing the boss of each dungeon is where all the experience is at, and you should be able to do this with any class. The first dungoen you complete on the lowest level will get you to level 2 without any bonuses and if you have patron and it is a Saturday or double xp week then you will get to lvl 3 in one dungeont.

When you get into the uber adventure worlds you will want to do worlds that are as high of a pr requirement as your best class. The reason for this is that then you can get the best gems it is possible for you to get and put them on your lower classes to level them up quicker. This is hard, because sometimes you can't solo an adventure world, and you will have to use the rally blade to look for help. If you cannot find anyone with the rally blade, then just start doing dungeons, and keep you're own rally blade on and hope someone follows you.

Remember to loot collect all your items, while keeping ones that are higher level than the ones you are wearing.

If you need to get to level 20 mastery really quickly, then a good strategy to use is to level up all your classes to lvl 10 and level up your trial classes to lvl 3 or 4. Yes, you can get mastery from leveling up your trial classes, and it is actually pretty quick, because like i said before one dungeon is enough to get to level 2, and without patron it only takes a few more dungeons to get to level 3.
Gaining Mastery
Here you will learn how to gain mastery at a decent pace.

Ringcrafting and gardening are probably the best ways of gaining mastery at low levels. You get 75 mastery points for every 50 levels, so 250 levels should give you 375 mastery points which is 3.75 mastery levels right there.
Here is the ringcrafting bench. You can craft it in one of the basic crafting stations and using it will help you gain mastery.

At first you should probably just ringcraft diamonds and then start doing actual rings when you get to the next level up, because you will need diamonds later and you won't gain levels for crafting diamonds after you get to the next level up.

Just get the items that it says you need and you will be able to make those things. Shapestone you will find all over any adventure world just use lasermancy to collect it. To use lasermancy just press tab and right click anywhere. Primordial flames are a little bit more rare than shapestone, but you will find these in a lot of places as well. And, flux is what you get from loot collecting any item.

Here is the gardening bench:

To get mushroom chunks just run over anything that looks like a mushroom with your mount. And, glim you will get from killing most monsters or fishing or running over grass.

There are also other ways of getting mastery when you are just starting out, which is to loot collect items that you don't have the styles for yet. Each new style is worth one point. And, to do recipe dungeons, which I think don't start appearing until uber 1 or higher. Each recipe you learn is worth 2 points. You can also hope you get lucky from opening the adventure boxes, and you will get 50 mastery if you get a mount out of an adventure box.
Fishing and Shadow Towers and Sky Realm
Here you will see how to complete the shadow tower and sky realm quests.

One of the quests is to go fishing as well. Here is what the fishing merchant looks like:

And the shop:

You may need to adventure a lot to get the glim to buy a fishing pole and bait to fish with, but once you have some bait, you should be able to make all your glim back by loot collecting all the fish you get. You will even get some mastery for loot collecting the fish you get. To be able to go fishing you will need to buy the pole, then click on it and confirm to learn it, then press c and click on the box that says fishing pole, and select the one you have.

This is what a shadow tower portal looks like:
You will need to be uber 2 or above to open a spikewalker shadow tower, and when you are, you can just ask in global for someone to invite you. You can also type in /join st and there will be plenty of people doing shadow towers that may invite you. Just make sure you don't spam messages asking for invites, because people will report you and you may get muted.

There is still a sky realm but the same sky world dungeons are also in any air world. Sky realm just has more of the radiant ruins and radiant giants.
Forging
Here I will show you how to forge your items to higher shadow levels and then radiant.

Okay, so when you get to shadow items, you should know that it takes a lot of flux, and eyes of q'bthulhu to upgrade your items. You may want to loot collect the shadow items you get at first(after selecting some good ones to actually use). Don't worry, you will find more and more, the higher level you get to. U3 will get you a decent amount of s1 items, so you can probably start there once you get above level 15.

This is what all the forges look like:

The one on the left is the regular forge which lets you upgrade an item's stars, and also upgrade them to higher shadow levels.

Here is a list of pictures showing what you need to upgrade items through level 4:

So basically you need two twice forged souls to upgrade from s2 to s3, and you get twice forgeds from loot collecting s2 items. Two thrices to upgrade an s3 item, which you get from loot collecting s3 items. And, two quads to upgrade an s4 item, which you get from loot col[/previewimg]lecting s4 items.

When you loot collect an s5 item you will get a penta, which looks like this:

And, you will need 3 pentas and 3 purifying dragon flames to upgrade an item to radiant.
This is the direction you will need to go to get to the dragon crucible which is where you need to go to make purifying dragon flames:

And, this is the dragon crucible:

So, with the mantle of power update, stellar gear was added, and I guess it is about the same value to upgrade to a stellar as just buying one. I'm not totally sure onthe prices anymore, but I do know radiant souls are 3k about at the time of writing this, and 10 shapers stars is still the same as 8 titan's treasures which is still about 60-70k. To be honest, I would just save up flux and buy a bad stellar for 20-40k, and wait for 2nd stat reroll week to get a perfect 2nd stat on it, but don't worry about the 3rd and 4th stat until 2nd stat reroll week is over.

Well I guess it's not letting me show the picture of the radiant to stellar upgrade but just know that it takes 2 radiant souls and 10 shapers stars.

Here is a link to kukui's forging guide it will be very helpful when you want to get just the right stats: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S8bNjfqS0yJFsWuQ6bkeAfaMJZIDkxYo2wZZRQtyWp4/htmlview?sle=true#gid=832101009

Next I will talk about the enchanted forge and the chaos forge.
Enchanted and Chaos Forges
This is what the enchanted and chaos forges look like:

The enchanted forge is in the middle and chaos on the right.

To use an enchanted forge you will need a pearl, and you can add a 4th stat to an item by using this forge. If you already have 4 stats on the item, it will improve the existing stats of the item. But, you can only improve each stat of an item twice.

This is the chaos forge:

The stats on the wand and hat that are in these pictures are good general stats that you should aim for when looking for items and forging them to get different stats. Just remember that you cannot change the second stat of an item, so you will need to find an item that has a second stat that you want it to end up having.

Just to give you an idea of some good stats for items: Weapons should have energy regen, crit hit(if you have surestrike emblem then switch this to jump), and crit damage, and hats should have crit damage, health %, and attack speed, and faces should have crit damage, health % and attack speed. If you are using a revenant, you will want max health on the weapon rather than energy regen, because revenants don't use energy.

Optional builds are also to start with magic find on your hat and ring to try to get radiants quicker because of the increased drop rate of shadow items, and eventually if you get far enough you will want to make two radiant faces to have magic damage on one and physical damage on the other.
Gems and Gem Upgrading
So, basically starting in Uber 1 you will start getting common gem boxes from doing dungeons. Open these boxes for gems that you can upgrade and equip for more pr. These pictures will show what it looks like to upgrade a gem, and what all the boosters do:I would recommend that you don't use any boosters on low level gems, and just go by the policy that if they break, just loot collect them or place another gem on top of it if it is equipped. Normally if you want to fix a broken gem you would need a regemerator, but I would say anything below shadow gems it is not worth it to fix. Basically, you are just going to want to get as much pr out of your gems as possible until you get to the higher ubers, because every time you go up an uber you will get higher quality gems as rare drops from the gem boxes.

You also need a regemerator to remove a gem, but at lower levels it's probably just better to drag a new gem on top of your old gems if you get a better one. You get the boosters from gem booster boxes, which you can buy with cubits, but if you have other things to buy with cubits like death defying vial and martial and arcane emblems then buy those first.

These are the gem boxes you will get from adventure worlds. From left to right they are fire, from fire worlds u7+, air from air worlds u5+, water from water worlds u3+ and regular gem boxes from prime worlds u1+

These are what the gem booster boxes and empowered gem boxes look like. Booster boxes are on the left and empowereds are on the right. You get the gem booser boxes from the shop, and they cost 500 cubits each. Empowered gem boxes you get from weekly contests and primarily for newer players from daughter of the moon shadow towers. You get one from dotm normal, 2 from hard, and 3 from ultra. You also get 1 empowered gem box if you happen to have the weekly contest class at 2500 or more pr, and 2 more if the class is above 5000 pr. There are also other random contests, which give you an empowered gem box if you're ranked in the top 2500.

Some other things to keep in mind are that you should always know what the rare gem drop is from the highest uber you can get into, and make sure and go for gems of that type that have 2 stars and are a high starting pr. This is very important, because the pr that they start out at affect how high they can be when they are leveled up. You are also going to want to look at how good of pr boosts you are getting at lvl 5 10 and 15. Now for stellar the max is 200 for each of those and min is 100, so a good rule of thumb is to only continue leveling up gems that have gotten one or more 150+ boosts at least for stellar. I almost thought I was going to have to do tons of lower leveled adventure worlds to find the stats but this forum post has a pretty good list of the min and max pr's for gems from u5 and above: Gem Stats[forums.trovegame.com]

The last thing to worry about is the stats of the gems. Almost always the stats you are going to want is physical or magic damage, crit damage, and crit hit. Now for tanky classes you will want a little bit of health, but never health regen. Also, any gem that's below stellar, you are going to have to replace when you get to uber 9 anyways, so don't worry about the stats too much until you get to uber 9.

So, what are you waiting for? Go farm as many gem boxes as you can to get your pr as high as possible!
About Boxes and Chests and Caches
Right now most of the boxes are untradable and especially chaos chests you will actually want to open since you can't trade them anymore. It's just a matter of when to open them. I would say try to get each new top loot that you don't have, and if you don't get it then use your chaos cores for whatever you want, but if you already have the top loot just wait till mega chaos core week to open any more.

Trion has said that they don't want to make anything unobtainable forever. So, pretty much everything will be dropped again eventually, like things gotten on halloween or christmas will be available every halloween or christmas. So, save your event items until a few or even several months after the event, and they will be worth a lot more, but come the next year they will be worth a lot less again.

About troves of wonder, I am of the opinion now, that they are not worth opening. If you want to have fun while trying to find all the rare drops from it, then go ahead and spend your hard earned flux, but I really think that it would be more worthwhile to just play the market with the flux you've earned and just buy anything you need from the market.
