Oblivion Coloured Silver Sword

Description
This mod replaces the original Silver Sword texture to fit more with The Elder Scrolls lore. As shown on the Images above it changes the silver to be actual silver and the brown parts to be black like in the previous Elder Scrolls games (More specifically Oblivion).
This mod does not replace the original Silver Sword texture files, only the texture used. So if you disable the mod you will regain the original texture no problem!

This mod is directed at those who are passionate about The Elder Scrolls lore! If this doesn't interest you this mod will seem pointless to you.

As always please report any bugs in the comments and I'll fix it when I'm not busy!
The textures are high resolution and may have very minor effects on your performance!
This will of course be incompatible with any other mod that replaces the silver sword texture!

Requirements:
- Skyrim... That's it. Just Skyrim...

glad to find this mod, makes the silver sword much, much more appealing. The only regret I have now is the ugly vanilla brown leather scabbard...

Thanks. Out of all the games (Vanilla versions) I feel skyrim is the worst, so I have been getting a lot of mods that will fix the lore and the difficulty. This is small but great. Thank you

Thanks! I always loved using silver swords in Oblivion, so it's good to see them actually look like silver now.

Simple, but profound. Although, perhaps the original look of the silver weapons was meant to represent tarnished silver? Besides getting covered in blood and water repeatedly, sulphur in the air will tarnish silver, and there are volcanic hot springs not too far away. Your new texture makes the silver look brand new, fresh from the forge.

Perhaps use this mod for your brand new silver weapon, then the original after a long while of hacking and slashing with your precious metal friend ;) .

Can you change the texture on the greatsword as well? The greatsword is still iron-grey, and it doesn't match with the sword.

you should add a way to make it too JUST SAYING (since you cant make Sliver swords anyway) put it in misc too. Just an idea ^^
