System Shock Enhanced Edition- Keys

A quick guide to the keyboard commands, and some misc tips

Essential Keys

Key	Description
ESC	System Menu
W A S D	Movement. Something strange here : My keyboard bindings show Fwd & back to be s & x, although the actual keys are W & A. Go figure.
E	Mouse-look toggle . Note you can move & fire while mouse-look is enabled. Exit mouse-look mode to use the MFDs (Multi-Function Displays). Super useful
R / F / V	Stand up, Crouch, Lie prone
Q	Next Weapon
Q + SHIFT	Previous Weapon
RIGHT-MOUSE-CLICK	Fire selected weapon (if you have one)
Z & C	Lean left & right
SPACE	Jump / Climb
SHIFT	Run
P	Pause toggle
CTRL + A	Show map full-screen (ESC to go back)

Other Keys

Key	Description
1	Health / Fatigue Status (a.k.a 'Bioware')
2	Fullscreen mode toggle
3	Rear-view display toggle (once you have the 'Sensaround' hardware)
7	Compass toggle (Nav Unit)
8	Toggle Data Reader (once you have the Data Reader installed in Hardware)
?	Show keyboard bindings :D
CTRL + H	Help Toggle
ALT + H	Cycle HUD colour
DELETE	Abort current audio-log (does not work for me)
PAGE-UP / PAGE-DOWN	Cycle through inventories
F1	Left MFD: Show Weapon Status
F2	Left MFD: Show Item Status
F3	Left MFD: Automap
F4	Left MFD: Target (if installed)
F5	Left MFD: Data
F6	Right MFD: Show Weapon Status
F7	Right MFD: Show Item Status
F8	Right MFD: Automap
F9	Right MFD: Target (if installed)
F10	Right MFD: Data
F11 / F12	Gamma Increase / Decrease

Throwing Grenades & Other Stuff

• Throwing Grenades -> Double LEFT-mouse-click the type of grenade you want. RIGHT mouse-click to throw. Note the higher your cursor on the screen, the further the grenade will be thrown
  
• Dropping Items -> While not in mouse-look, right-mouse-click on an item in the Main or General inventory. Right-mouse-click again to either throw it away or put it back in the inventory

Map

• You can make notes on the the map. Left-mouse to place the pointer, then start typing.

Cyber-space

• Forget about W A S D
  
• LEFT-MOUSE => Move forward (pressing S also seems to do the same)
  
• RIGHT-MOUSE => Fire (items such as Pulser or Drill)
  
• Z & C => Roll left and right (useful for keeping upright)
  
• Press E in Cyberspace to choose which of your SOFTS are active e.g. PULSER (Gun) or DRILL
  
• Avoid the mines (they look like Minecraft Hamburgers)
  
• The exits are a small circle of 5 pyramids
  
• Red Crosses restore your health

OMG I OWE YOU MY LIFE. Seriously, I've been crawling the web just for the keybindings, so I can finally remap my Retroid Pocket Flip D-pad to crouch/stand. I got the game running in Magic DosBox on Android, to beat it all.

its pretty rediculous that this isnt in the games menus. that would have been a pretty obvious enhancement to make
