Introduction / Pros & Cons

Osiris is a physical melee warrior that relies on getting close to his opponents and deal a considerable amount of auto attack damage. His abilities are used more for catching up to your opponent instead of dealing damage. With his utility, control, and a built in damage mitigator, Osiris can be a dangerous god to box 1v1. Osiris excels at being a heavy counter to ADC or hard hitting physical gods.

Pros:
High Defense
Constant Annoying Pokes
Built-in Damage Mitigation
Healing Reduction
Decent Control
Great Boxer

Cons:
No Escape (Besides his Ultimate)
Low Ability Damage
Wonky Crowd Control
Steep Learning Curve
Skills / God Skill Order
: This is a very unique passive compared to all other passives in that every time he uses an ability it gives him a physical damage reduction for each part of his body. When you lose all part, you are immune to slows, unaffected by movement penalties from Basic Attacks, and can walk through player generated walls; Examples being Ymir's Ice Wall or Odin's Ring of Spears.

: This ability lets you throw your sickle and when it hits an enemy god, you slow them for a duration. This ability is very great for early invades especially with Heavy Hammer.

: This is your main clear and poking power. When you hit something with Spirit Flail, you gain a movement speed increase. If your opponent is hit with Sickle Strike, and hit them with this ability, the duration of the slow is increased for a tad bit longer and this ability deals extra damage.

: This ability works well in a boxing match against one or more gods as it reduces any damage to you from enemy gods caught in you tether. When the duration of this ability is up any opponent stuck in your tethers is stun for a duration which makes a kill even more simple. The only problem is that they can get away real easily so the control on Osiris is very wonky and hard to use.

: When you use this ability, you leap and deal damage upon landing. Any enemy god caught in the AOE gets rooted for a second and have their healing reduced by 100%. Using this ability uses up any remaining parts on Osiris. This ability can be used as an escape or an initiation.

Items / Item Builds / Situational
: This item is near perfect of any AA based god, especially Osiris, as hitting anything will give you health and mana back for each successful strike.

: Damaging abilities apply a DoT to your opponent when they are hit. Great for poking the hell out of your enemy and great for the little extra damage for the finish blow.

: A staple for any jungler, need I say more.

: If you're feeling lucky and want to go for an early invade, this item with serve you well.

& : Every god should have boots, but choosing what boots are up to you. Do you want more attack speed? Then go for Ninja Tabi. If you want more power to your punches, then go for Warrior Tabi.

or : This item is extremely useful on Osiris as you deal extra damage from a percentage of your opponents health. Very good against tanky gods. Or if your're very cheap, The Executioner can be a good substitute for Qin's Sais as it shreds don physical protections off of your opponents making a good boxing tool.

: This item reduces the attack speed and physical power of any enemy god near you. While it gives you physical protection and attack speed.

: Since magical gods are now prevalent in this patch, getting Bulwark of Hope doesn't seem like a bad idea.

: When you kill or get an assets against an enemy god, you gain stacks of physical and magical protection.

: If Sickle Strike and Spirit Flail wasn't enough to keep your opponent near you, then Frostbound Hammer is just adding salt to the wound. Every attack you land on an opponent, it slows them down and lowers their attack speed.

: You gain physical power for a percentage of your physical protection, very useful for making yourself very bulky.

: Health, Magical protection, Mp5, and an aura that provides physical protection. Using this in conjunction with Runeforged Hammer is a very good combo.

: Attack speed, lifesteal, and penetration make this a good item on any AA based god especially on Osiris.

: You steal your opponents physical power and claim it as your own. More oriented against physical power gods as it can do some serious damage to their boxing potential.

: A Bruisers best friend against physical ADC. Every time your opponent strikes you with a basic attack, there's a chance of it slowing their attack and movement speed.

: When fighting a god like Loki or wanting to deal damage by stand close to your opponent. Mystical Mail will be your best friend.

: This is a great item to get for any auto-attack god. The more you hit something, the more likely you'll land a critical strike.

: This is a very good item on a god like Osiris, power, attack speed, and increase in physical protection can make a difference in a boxing situation.

Actives
: A optional active for any solo laner, as you can return to base and get back to your tower in half the time if you just walked there.

: Do I really need to explain why this active is important? It makes you immune to any CC for 1 second which allows you to get out of a CC lock to either retreat or continue to attack your opponent.

: Since the nerf to Greater Sprint this active looks a lot more shiner as you and your team get a speed boost. A useful active for gods without an escape. (His ult doesn't count)

: When in a CC lockdown, and your death is closing in on you. Use this active to make you immune to any damage for a duration and run away while you-re immune.

: A tool useful for junglers and boxing gods alike as when you use it against a enemy god, you stun them for about a second.

or : Have trouble with healers are people that faster then you, get this active. If you're having trouble with those who has more attack speed then you, get Enfeebling Curse instead.

: When you or your teammates are in a huge fight, drop this active so everyone on your team gets a spike in protections

Tips & Tricks
- If you're going for an early invade, make sure that you can invade without risking your life in the process. Some match ups are good to invade on like, for example, Ra and Bastet as they don't have much early game power especially at level 1.

- If you're going to invade, put a point in Sickle Strike for the slow. If not, put a point in Spirit Flail as that is your clear and poking ability.

- When starting a fight, always use Judgement Tether to reduce any damage and for the stun if they're foolish enough to keep fighting you.

- You have a slow, use it whenever possible to either catch up or get away from your opponent.

- Use your abilities like a mad man in the jungle camps or in the lane, as when you start to fight your lane opponent you don't take as much damage as you should be.
Phases of the Game
Early: Osiris has very good early game pressure as he's one of the best invaders in the warrior class, so try to get a kill as fast as you can while not trying to get yourself killed.
--
Mid: Attempt to get your core items online before your opponent and just wreck them until you dominate your lane. While pushing after your lane is cleared of enemy towers, gank the other lanes and cause chaos in the other lanes.
---
Late: Jump into every teamfight, figuratively and literally, and attempt to claim kills while you're at it.
Things to Look out for
- CC lock-downs are very obvious.

- Heavy hitting magical gods are the bane of Osiris as he little to no built-in way to deal with magical damage.

- Don't heavily rely on Fragmented or Judgement Tether too much as it will not make you immortal.

- As Osiris doesn't have a a great escape, make sure you have a way out of a situation in case it goes south real fast. Either it be wards or Sprint, just have a escape plan for it.
Teamwork
- When playing Osiris you won't do as much damage as you would like and might occasionally get your kill stolen by a teammate in a teamfight. So don't throw a piss fit when you got tons of assist because of your opponent kill stealing.

- Use your Sickle Strike as your main tool for helping secure kills with your teammates.

- Use Lord of the Afterlife as a way to cause confusion in a teamfight and reduce any healing from the healers of the team.
Summary
In conclusion, Osiris is a wonky AA based bruiser with abilities that makes it easier to kill your opponent from the utility than the damage itself. A god mainly used as a counter to other physical ADC's or magical healers, but can hold his own against other gods. Hopefully this guide is very helpful and allows you to use the powers given by the God of the Afterlife

@Baka
Great question, I am taking it into consideration but the nerfs to the items were fairly small and I wouldn't really change what I would put in the Item builds currently..

Hey Natalie, are you taking into consideration the nerfs for protective stuff that came in this patch for future gods?

How is that rude, it's just telling me another thing that I can always improve on..
But technically, for Osiris it's definitely because hes an AA based warrior
