DayZ Origins - How to play

A quick TUTORIAL on how to play DayZ Origins!

Introduction

DayZ Origins is a Arma 2 Mod with currently the most innovative system & extensive wealth.

The following guide is here to help people that don't know how to download & get the Mod running.

Installation

1. If you already have Arma 2 & Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead installed skip to 4.
   
2. Download & Install Arma 2 & Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead & Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Beta
   
3. Start Arma 2 & Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead one time!
   
4. This step is important! Go to your steamlibrary. Right click on Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead and go to "properties" and choose "betas". You need to choose "beta -"
   
5. Now go back to steamlibrary and choose the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Beta Obsolete and go to "properties" again! Choose "betas" again and choose beta version "112555"
   
6. Go to *\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 and Copy the "AddOns" - Folder
   
7. After copying the AddOns folder you need to paste it inside *\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 OperationArrowhead
   
8. Download the Official DayZ Origins Launcher : Launcher [originsmod.info]
   
9. After downloading the Launcher install & open it. (You may need to update the launcher after first launch)
   
10. Inside the Launcher click on "Download"
    
11. You will find to Options under "Download" First Option should be to download or verificate the most recent DayZ Origins Update -> Klick on it
    
12. After finishing the Download you are ready to play the DayZ Origins mod!

I remember doing exactly this before to get my Origins to work, tho this time I didn't do anything except download both ArmA 2 and OA and then download the launcher and the mod, and it worked instantly :)
