Witch Hunter
Melee
  • Rapier and Pistol - With the Rapier in hand, Victor is a master of the thrust, slash and parry, achieving a deadly balance of precision offense and agile defense. Only weapon in the game that uses the special attack button as of now. Lowest damage of Victors weapons but rewards headshots, and can hit more than one target per swing.
  • Battle Axe - While the One Handed Axe might be less graceful than the Rapier, Victor cannot deny the satisfaction of cleaving into one rat-man after another, watching armor rend and limbs fly. Trades the ability to hit more than one target for armor penetration on every swing. Same damage as the greatsword per hit. Charge attack is also very limited in AoE, making Victor vulnerable to hordes of skaven.
  • Great Sword - The Greatsword grants Victor the power and strength to slash his way through multiple enemies at once, clearing crowds and taking names. Of Victors weapons this one is the best at dealing with hordes of enemies, decent stamina, combined with his highest melee damage per swing, combined with the ability to hit 3-4 rats per standard attack. Of all his weapons this is the combination that makes you the most vulnerable to armored enemies like Stormvermin. I wouldn't recommend combining this with the Repeater Pistol. Great sword still has armor penetration on it's charge attacks however.
Ranged
  • Brace of Pistols - Out of Victor's favorite weapons, our Witch Hunter carries a great number of Pistols strapped to his body, allowing him to pick off enemies with lethal efficiency. Armor penetration with every shot and the ability to do high DPS when bursting with the secondary attack. It is not very good at hitting at long ranges, and does not reward head shots.
  • Crossbow - The Crossbow enables Victor to engage Skaven at long range and to penetrate even the most armored enemy. Victor's best gun to deal with (non Ratogre) special enemies, armor penetration on every shot and rewarding head shots, it also has the ability to pierce thus hitting rats directly behind your target. If you enjoy sniping, and you're playing Victor, bring this.
  • Repeater Pistol - While the Repeater Pistol is not famous for its accuracy, a high rate of fire combined with a special spin mechanic allows Victor to decimate whole groups of charging Clan Rats. Victor's only weapon with no armor penetration, combined with the lowest damage per shot. It does however fire very quickly.
Waywatcher
Melee
  • Dual Elven Daggers - With an Elven Dagger in each hand, Kerillian dances gracefully through the battlefield, moving with lethal precision and leaving a trail of bodies behind her. Same damage as the waywatchers other weapons but high attackspeed, and rewards skill shots to the head.
  • Elven Short Sword - Wielding a single Elven Short Sword enables Kerillian to fend off packs of Skaven by slashing multiple enemies at once. Kerillians best weapon at hitting several targets in one hit. Same as swords and great swords from other characters.
  • Dual Elven Swords - Increased range and power make the Dual Elven Short Swords a lethal alternative for Kerillian to explore. Comparable to sword and dagger but without the headshot special.
  • Elven Dagger Sword Combo - Numerous unique combinations are possible by combining different weapons. Combines the best of both worlds, high attack speed, can hit several targets, and even keeps the head shot special, rewarding good aim in melee.
Ranged
  • Longbow / Bodkin Arrow - When armored enemies ask questions, the Bodkin Arrow is Kerillian's answer. Highest damage of the bows but slower fire rate. Has armor penetration, aswell as the ability to pierce targets when aiming.
  • Swift Bow / Swiftshiver Arrow - Fast and light, Swiftshiver arrows allow Kerrillian to loose a barrage of arrows and empty her quiver in mere seconds, causing mayhem and bloodshed among the enemy ranks.
  • Hagbane Swift Bow - Arrows dipped in highly potent poison, affecting anyone in contact with the noxious fumes. Same damage and attack speed as the swiftbow but hits a small area around the impact with poison, instead of rewarding head shots.
  • Trueflight Longbow - Every shot counts, and the Trueflight Arrow always finds its mark. Rightclick enables autoaim-like capability, arrows will curve to hit marked targets. Same stats as regular longbow but less ammo.
Imperial Soldier
Melee
  • Great Sword - Cleaving through multiple Skaven in one mighty swing, the Great Sword turns Markus into a grim reaper of rat-men. Same damage, speed and targets as sword and shield. But presumably has a longer cone. It does more damage on a charge attack than Markus' other weapons.
  • Great Hammer - Wading into ranks of Skaven swinging a Great Hammer, blood and bodies flying, is therapeutic for Kruber, as it rewards him with a soothing inner calm. Highest damage, and with armor penetration but to few targets. Charge attack hits the max amount, but with less damage.
  • Arming Sword - With the Arming Sword in hand, Kruber is quicker on his feet, and moves faster across the battleground. Never underestimate the tactical advantage of being able to engage and disengage at will. Decent damage and able to hit 3 to 4 targets in a single hit.
  • Mace - A one-handed blunt weapon that is capable of stunning and pushing back the recipients of Kruber's savage yet controlled violence. Mace hits the most targets on a standard attack of all the soldiers weapons.
  • Sword and Shield - A combination that will allow Kruber to stand his ground, soak up damage as he blocks with the shield, and then counter attack with deadly force. The swords standard attack is able to hit several enemies per hit, making it a good crowd fighting weapon. Same damage as Markus' other weapons
  • Mace and Shield - With a strong shield, and a mace for skull crushing. Markus can hold back a horde of enemies. The mace is able to hit more targets per swing than the sword and shield(see mace above) and has a stronger pushback.
Ranged
  • Repeater Handgun - The Repeater Hand Gun is an advanced experimental weapon, allowing Kruber to squeeze off precise single shots, or spray the enemy in a burst of fire. Lowest damage of Krubers ranged weapons but can rapid fire. It is unable to pierce rats to hit several targets in one shot however.
  • Blunderbuss - The Blunderbuss fires a hail of shot, capable of damaging multiple targets, or at close range, obliterating single enemies. If any rat-men would survive the blast, Kruber can use the butt of the weapon to finish them off. Secondary attack is similar to a melee charged weapon attack.
  • Handgun - The large calibre Hand Gun is an excellent choice when there is heavy armour to be pierced or a far away rat-man that needs immediate killing. Very high damage, with armor penetration, but slow reload. Can pierce targets.
Dwarven Ranger
Melee
  • Dwarven Great Axe - Hacking through multiple Skaven using Mighty swings, the Dwarven Great Axe is perfect for quickly decimating a large numbers of enemies. High damage, and armor penetration but can only hit one target on standard attacks.
  • Dwarven Great Hammer - Few things brings as much joy to Goreksson as swinging his heavy Great Hammer to maul, mangle and mash the despicable rat-men. Almost identical to the Great Axe, see above. However it has a more knockback if you prefer that.
  • Dwarven Battle Axe - The Dwarven Battle Handed Axe allows Goreksson to be faster on his feet, stunning unsuspecting foes, keeping large numbers of enemies busy, and punching through armour like butter. Quick attacks, but only able to hit one foe per hit. Armor piercing on standard attack.
  • Dwarven War Hammer - This instrument of blunt force trauma is a great option when there's a need for some crushing of helmeted skulls. This is the weapon for you if you want to hit more than one target per standard attack, up to 5 targets per swing.
  • Hammer and Sheield - With a hammer and shield in his hands, the ranger is ready to take on hordes at a time. The hammer can hit many targets at once, combined with armor penetration on the charge attack and plenty of stamina for pushes, makes this an excellent weapon for fighting crowds.
  • Axe and Shield - This combination is great for switching between a hack or smash approach to a more crowd control and defensive/damage soaking style. Sacrifices the ability to hit more than one target with armor penetration on it's standard attacks.
Ranged
  • Dwarven Crossbow - A steady aim is the name of game when Goreksson brings out his trusty crossbow, drilling quarrels into the bodies of rat-men from a mighty distance. Lower damage than the handgun, otherwise very similar.
  • Dwarven Hand Gun - With a loud bark, the Dwarven Hand Gun reaches out to gently touch Gorekssons enemies, as they're torn apart by the cheery impact of red-hot lead. Handgun is excellent at picking off special rats at range, before they become a threat.
  • Grudge-Raker - When fired, the Grudge-Raker erupts a hail of shot, capable of blasting numerous enemies at close range. Blunderbuss like weapon with less damage but a quicker reload, than Krubers weapon.
  • Drakefire Pistols - Capable of rapid delivery of exploding fire bullets, along with a "Dragon's breath" charge shot. Goreksonns pistols can match even the Firemages fury, and come at a similar price.
Bright Wizard
    Melee
  • Wizard Mace A mace crafted for wizards, and said being able to channel a portion of the wielders magical strengths into its attacks. Swings of the Wizards Mace can hit multiple foes, and most importantly, shows promising potential in the art of decorating walls with vermin brain matter. Unlike other maces this one hits fewer targets than a sword, trading area and attack speed for stronger pushback. Unlike the other weapons, it's charge attacks doesn't swipe only hitting one target.
  • Wizard Sword An excellent tool for controlling large groups of Skaven and slashing them into more manageable pieces, ready to be scavenged by the Bone Pickers of Ubersreik (should there be any left of them alive). The wizards best melee weapon for attacking more than one target, more rats per standard attack than the flaming sword and mace, and also quicker than the latter.
  • Flaming Sword Fuegonasus loves fire more than anything, and what better weapon to use when the winds of magic blow low, than her glorious and deadly flaming sword. Similar to the regular sword, but hitting less rats per attack, and trades head shot for burn on it's charge attack.
Ranged
Disclaimer, Siennnas staves are very diffrent from other weapons in the game, and will require more time to learn and analyze than other weapons.

Sienna Fuegonasus most important tools are her Staves, and depending on which one she uses, she can combine her spells differently to achieve the most fiery and spectacular result. Each staff combines a heavier and lighter spell, allowing her a range of options and tactics in combat. Sienna needs to keep herself under control though, or risk immolating herself instead of her foes.
  • Piercing Bolts Of Burning An armor piercing spell that enables Sienna to shred her enemies with rapid bursts of small flame bolts. Low damage, but has armor penetration on non charged bolts.
  • Bolt of Aqshy An armor piercing missile capable of of blasting through multiple enemies. Charge spell of the other bolt above, able to hit more targets, with significantly more damage.
  • Fireball A signature spell of Bright Wizards across the Empire, the Fire Ball is a potent long range magic missile.
  • Great Fires Of U'Zhul A large fireball, lobbed in an arc towards the enemy and capable of damaging multiple enemies. Area grows when charged, and damage increases somewhat.
  • Sear / Beam Using Sear, the Bright Wizard creates a cone of searing flame, burning all enemies within the area of effect.
  • Flameblast A Flameblast is a beam-like offensive spell that stuns the target while causing continuous damage.
  • Conflagration Of Doom By marking the area on the ground, the wizard is able to create a pillar of fire that erupts from the ground and ignites all enemies caught within it.

I feel the Witch Hunter is really lacking in weapons compared to the others, guess the usage of a gun while still retaining melee makes up for it abit.

For those wondering, Special Attack defaults to one of the thumb buttons if your mouse has thumb buttons, or middle mouse button/scroll-wheel click if you don't as far as I know.

Whats the special attack button for the rapier? Does it mean you can shoot the pistol you hold?

I got a Hammer and Shield with the dwarven Ranger. Sweeps quite nicely but hasn't got armor piercing on the standard attack.

The original link is in the description, it's just more convenient to find it in the browser. So far I've only added 2 things to it.
