How to make your G27 manual shifter, a sequential shifter PLUS G29 Shifter mod.

Easily turn your Logitech G27 manual shifter or G29 Shifter into a Sequential shifter by using some common household things.

Assembly

I used 4 rubber bands all up. 2 common and 2 slightly smaller ones.


By attaching the smaller bands around the back, and over the shifter knob, the knob will pull up.
Then by using the small fastening shaft on the bottom of your shifter, the one in the middle, drag the larger bands up and over the knob. The shifter should now be centered.

G29 shifter assembly

Here's how you can do it another way on the G27 & G29 Shifter. Remove the 2 side allen key screws and replace them with longer screws. Remove the gear knob and slide on 2 O-rings (~24 mm diameter), attaching them to the long screws on each side.

Game setup

Turn off "use seperate shifter" in the shifter settings, and configure the paddle settings but use up on the shifter for gear down, and pull down for gear up (or the reverse, whichever you prefer)

I have the G27 too and behind the steering wheels it got theses white "thingies" one at the left and one at the right, which are for sequential shifting, thats cool right?

Well unfortunally i want to play in manual.
Exept that my clutch and the gear thingies aren't recognized by any game... So... Sequential game.. ;-;
