As stated above - mostly a re-upload. I did take that chance to change the colorcheme a bit to create a bigger difference between this Sponsor and KP (mostly the color displayed on the minimap).

This mod adds the Sha'Yuri Clan and their young but capable leader Ayuri to the game. The Sha'Yuri are centered about the idea of deveting themselves to the harmony affinity creating more synergy with its mechanics. That may sound a bit limiting (And yes, it is to a certain extend), but it allows for an overall design that makes existing mechanics more interesting and important - they benefit more from Miasma than anyone else and have tools to spread Miasma quite easily ready from the get-go.

While their units are certainly weaker than normal they also get a great production-modifier for land units - which has synergy with the "explosion"-perks that you can choose for some units when leveling up your affinity. Overall they (hopefully!) have a rather "zerglike" feel to them - spreading creep- eh... miasma... and then coming in great numbers - or just using the miasma to survive. They start a weak - but (if they manage to survive and strive) can become a very strong force later on.

As you level up your affinities you will also gain some additional tools that improve the overall performance of your empire (and make up for the fact that some of the affinity-level-bonuses are useless to you). They don't show in the interface until you reached the required level of affinity, but you can find them in 3 places: In the tooltip of the "Altar of Burden"-Building that is prebuilt in every city + in the Civilopedia-Entry of this Sponsor (There you will also find a really silly and badly written pseudo- background-story for the Clan and its Leader Ayuri.). And in the Screenshots above.

The AI understands how to use this Sponsor, well, mostly, and as I've added quite a lot of custom texts for diplomatic conversations they should make for quite an interesting sponsor to play against. The AIs strategy will mostly focus around peaceful play, expansion and a lot of defensive units - but as it's always the case with Civ-games: If you're weak, they'll consider aggression as an option, especially on higher difficulties.
