How to take screenshots!

Very long and tedious way to take screenshots for Undertale, for the people who feel the need to share!

Finding your Steam folder

1. Navigate around till you get to this folder (Steam/userdata/NUMBER/760/remote)
   
   
   • Assuming most Steam users don't move their Steam folder around.. you can find your Steam folder here
     (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
     
     
   • This is what mine looked like (Steam\userdata\55832678\760\remote\391540\screenshots)
     

     Try to aim for this :)

   
   
   
2. The number will have a variety of game-ID's.
   
   
   
3. Search around the (Steam/userdata/) folder to find which number has all the game ID's for you.
   
   
4. Once you find the right folder go through it to (Steam\userdata\55832678\760\remote) where there should be tons of different game ID's.
   
   
5. Create a folder in (Steam\userdata\55832678\760\remote) with Undertale's game ID.
   
   
6. To find the game ID for any game, create a shortcut and click the properties. The URL will be something like this (steam://rungameid/.....)

Create a screenshot folder!

1. Create a screenshot folder inside the Undertale Game ID folder named "screenshots".
   
   
   
2. Now that the folder is created, take a screenshot while you're in Undertale. To do that, you're going to want to Print Screen or use a program like Puush to capture the screen.
   
   
   
3. If you're using Print Screen go ahead and paste it inside Paint (or any other program that will allow you to change the file type to jpeg/jpg).
   
   
   • After you have pasted your screenshot into Paint, click

     File > Save As > and choose JPEG picture.

     
   
   
   
4. Now for the filename you're going to want to make it match what Steam uses so something along the lines of

   "2015-10-09_00001.jpg"

   (Year-month-day_screenshot number) That way Steam will recognize it.

Finishing up!

1. After you saved your screenshot, named it properly with the correct file extension, place it inside your Undertale screenshots folder you created previously.
   
   
   
2. Once you're finished with all of that.
   

   • Restart Steam!

     
     
   • When Steam is back up, click view and then click screenshots.
     
     
   • Now go to the Untertale folder that should be there. Click the screenshot and upload!
   
   
3. When you're completely finished your folder should look like this
   
   • Check out Steam and you should have something like this verifying you have screenshots for Undertale :)
     
   
   

   Then you're done!

or you could just press f12

doesnt work for me i changed it to jpeg even made it on the correct file with name screeshots IN game then put the picture in and left then restarted steam and nothing
pls help
