This is a pretty simple straight forward mod. Chase down a deer or elk and you can ride it. Once you reach your destination just hop off and the animal runs back to the wilderness. Perfect for those nature loving wood elf characters, but all races can use this mod too.


BUGS AND GLITCHES:

Mounting and dismounting can look weird, especially if the animal is moving.

When mounting, it may take a second or two before you're able to control the beast.

Rarely, the sound can cut out while mounting, although this may be an issue with my PC, I'm not sure.

Elk and deer cannot jump, nothing I can do about that.

If you go in deep water it will screw up the riding animation. Solution: dismount. In fact most animation glitches can be fixed simply by dismounting and hopping back on.

Hunters will attack your elk/deer while you are riding it! But the hunters will not turn aggressive towards you.

If you fast travel while on foot, the last elk/deer you were riding will appear at your destination and then promptly run off. This shouldn't be a problem though, since one of the main points of this mod is to eliminate, or at least reduce the need for fast travel.

This mod should not interfere with buying horses or recruiting followers.

COMPATIBILITY:

Elk and deer share the same skeleton, so any mod that alters this skeleton probably won't be compatible.
