Velexia's Animals are not Monsters - Legendary

Description
This mod changes animal's behaviors to be more animal-like and less monster-like. They will only attack you if you get very close, and will threaten long before they attack.

If you do end up fighting them, they're not guaranteed to be interested in fighting to the death.

Bashing is a good way to deter an animal from further attacks if they do go after you. Not guaranteed to work, but it might (especially on wolves).

If you have installed this mod on a current playthrough, you may need to wait in an interior cell for 31 days to replace animals that have already been spawned.

For Mod Patches, you can get those files here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69934/?

This Mod contains the Main file and both Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC files.

@Upsilon-77, If you are refering to the horse my character is riding, where there is a bear in the road, that is just a regular Skyrim horse =)

@Cpt. PewPew, I had a lot of fun taking these screenshots, interacting with the animals beyond just fighting with them =)

What is that horse-thing in picture 5?

im here to say that the khajit screenshot with the sabre cat is one of the best lore fitting pictures ever in skyrim xD with it perched above its "prey"

Thanks for the heads up, Loreknight. I'll look into that, I imagine it's like that for all versions. For now If you pursue it, it should attack.

Im not sure if it's the same with all versions, as i was accidentally using dawnguard version instead of this version, but Kodlak's wolf ghost spirit just runs away from you in the companions quest where you go to ysgramors tomb

I based the setting on the likelihood of a giant spider actually defeating a human in the Skyrim universe. They're about as agressive as wolves, but care less about threatening at a long distance.

If Skyrim were my own game, or if i were using scripts in this mod, I would make it way more complicated :3

Well, spiders might not be aggressive to humans because they know we're a lot bigger than them. But if their prey is their own size I doubt they have the same reservation. Try putting a fly next to spider and see what happens.
