Introduction
Welcome to our Beginner’s Guide for Anime! Hopefully, you’ve come here because you’re interested in anime. Anime isn't the easiest thing to get into with so many different series, genres, styles and opinions floating around on the Internet, finding a decent place to dive in or even just a series that everyone can agree on can seem like it is nearly impossible.

So Shanks and I (Zenix) have put together a Guide for Anime Beginners to help you guys out and broken it down into six simple sections for you. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Section 1: Genres
There are alot of anime genres out there from Fantasy like Fullmetal Alchemist to Sad anime like Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and Action such as Ben-to and then you just have hentai like Seito Kaichou Hikaru (☉_☉). It might be hard to find anime that you like so if you like mystery or horror etc then google top 10 mystery or horror anime or just ask one of your friends for a anime recommendation. If that’s does not help then go to Misty Chronexia YouTube channel and I’m sure you will find something there.
Section 2: Long And Short Series
Now if you're like Shanks and I, it does not matter if the anime Series is long or short because we love anime and we do a little bit of research on what the story is about before watching it and to find out if we are interested in watching it or not. There are some really good long anime series like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Fairy Tail etc. There’s also really good short anime Series like Deadman wonderland, k-on, Elfen Lied, Attack on titan and Steins;Gate etc. What I recommend are short anime series for beginners so you don’t have to commit to 300 + episodes.
Section 3: Subtitles And Dubbed
When watching anime there are two types of ways of watching anime and that’s sub and dub, here is what they are. Subbed anime is the original Japanese language with subtitles from a language you understand, where dubbed anime on the another hand is the same anime but with different voice actors for another language (both dub and sub anime are most commonly English) We don’t recommend one or the other, but whatever suits your preferences to help understand the story better and enjoy the show!
Section 4: Relax And Enjoy!
Places to watch anime and not watch anime. When watching anime its best to have a comfortable place to sit or lay down and if you have anime friends it is great to watch some series with them. Anywhere is pretty good to watch anime especially with some food and beverages (≧◡≦) BUT in saying that, it's not a good place to watch hentai on the train with the speakers on max volume. ( ՞ ਊ ՞)
Section 5: Anime Sites
Where to stream your favourite anime or download your favourite anime. First you’ll need to know if you’re the type of person that streams or downloads anime. Well Shanks and I stream, it is personal preference if you want to stream or download but both are great. Now anime sites are difficult because there are many sites out there that are good, presented nicely and user friendly and there are ones that are just complete crap. Shanks and I recommend {LINK REMOVED} because you can stream and download on the same site, it is mobile friendly meaning you can watch anime when you're on the go. Below are other anime sites that you can check out if you like.

Section 6: Creating Your Anime List
You can create your personalized anime list from tens of thousands of anime titles on the world’s largest database website called {LINK REMOVED}, you can also use your list to organize and track what titles you’ve completed, put on hold, plan to watch and much more.

Other features that MyAnimeList have are the forums. The forums are the best place to discuss your favorite anime series, ask for anime recommendations, keep up to date with anime news and trends, not only that but you can also make new friends that have the same interests that you do.

I lost a lot during this pandemic, and wasn't in the best of places mentally. I have to thank you guys a lot for helping me when I was really down in the dumps. Both you and anime have been a pillar of support and pushed me away from my darkest thoughts. I owe you my life and loyalty.

It's a shame you can't import your list from Anime-Planet to MyAnimeList. My list is simply too large. If anybody knows of a method do tell :BITRAY_CrazyCube:
