Description
This is a fairly simple mod that expands the possible unit rewards for clearing some low-level sites. By default, the Great Farm can only give you a reward of a Warg, Boar or Tiger. This mod expands that to also have a chance for any of the other non-evolving tier 1 animals; Zephyr Bird, Dire Penguin, Fell Horse, Polar Bear, and Dire Monkey as well as Kobolds.

Similarly, the rewards from Springs of Life, Dungeons and Brigand camps have been changed. Springs of Life now can hold Tier 2-3 animals and monsters in addition to the fairies; Dire Panthers, HellHound, Bleak Warg, Blight Tusk Boar, Elephants, Mammoths, Polar Bears, Gryphons, Nightmares, Unicorns and Feathered Serpents removing Nymphs and the various Hunters.

Dungeons no longer reward any racial units, instead holding Tier 3 Animal/Monster/Giants, (Troll, Ogre, Yeti, Cockatrice, Beholders, Feathered Serpents) as well as the Lesser Elementals.

Finally, Brigand Camps no longer reward racial irregulars or tier 1 units. Instead they can reward a variety of Class tier 1s (Scout, Hunter, Engineer, Scoundrel, Martyr) or very rarely a Lost Mariner.

Now also links the unused Tier 2 item sets to various mid-level structures which should make some items that rarely or never appear in the base game more common.

Thanks for a nice mod. It might need to be updated for version 1.8: Citing Hiliadan from Triumph´s forum: "For other mods with issues, you probably need to contact their authors so that they do a small edit in their mod to say to the game that the mod works with v1.8 (it’s a quick edit, very simple)."

Someone on the official forums found out something that might be a good addition to this mod. This is the topic:

The guy states that Tier 2 Item Cat is never linked in the reward sets, and therefore it's items are virtually non-existent. The example that caused the topic is the Imperial Hand Canon, but it seems to also contain for example a regrowth armor other than the one that also Slows you.

ofc I could mod it in myself, but that would be 100% incompatible with a respectable mod on the subject, so I thought I'd give you a heads up.

Not at all. So, every structure gives some kind of guarenteed reward. Great Farms give one unit and Gold, Brigand Camps give one unit and one item, Dungeons give two units, and Springs of Life give one unit.

All this mod does is change the units dropped. Item chances remain the same as before, and literally the only site that has both is Brigand camps anyways.

Does the incorporation of more unit reward variants decrease the effective chance of getting an item drop, or does the game do a coin flip to determine whether it will be an item or unit and then roll again to determine the specific variant? If it's the former, then I'm not sure if more unit variety is worth getting fewer items for the heroes.
