Dificulties to clear mission: Secure a beachhead?
By Sotgarok and 2 collaborators
In this little guide I will tell you my experience on this particular mission, as it is one of the most complicated missions that i've completed in the game as I progress, and I thought it was good to help the community. I think that guides are not to give a total solution to the problem, but only to give us a clue to succeed and with some ideas of our own we can achieve the result we want and that is clear the mission. I hope that my guide is useful.

Main points to consider
This game is a war simulator, so we cant just go running like YOLO in open field,so we must start thinking on a smart way some tactic of face to face, counter attack, defense or by ambush. Now I will explain some facts that are important to complete this specific mission.

-As I told you you will need TACTIC.
-We must be careful and always go through places in which are close covers.
-DO NOT WASTE AMMUNITION.
-Support our Squad and ally squad's such in defense, attack's and healing.
-Since we will be using an amphibious attack vehicle, we will have to take care of the anti-tank shooters primarily.

You can take other things in consideration as the situation develops, but I list this ones as they are extremely useful not to lose the sight about them, and I know it because I had to much time experimenting to how to complete it in one and another thousand ways, and believe me, these can't be replaced.
Our prior mission
Our prior mission is "Simple", "Secure a headbeach", Easy isnt it?
It's not, the mission is in some way complicated, ahead I will leave you some little details of why it is complicated to try completing our prior objective.
Our squad
The fact thar we are only 4 soldiers, ourselves as the leader of the squad should use the TACTIC in the correct way to keep our partners alive, as we need of them to be alive, by the fact that they make much easier things a little bit.
The battlefield & enemy deployment
Once we reach it to the start of our prior objective we will find the next map:
In this one we can see a big amount of open field, wich difficults making our way out of this little town that we see in the middle. Our squad and ally squad's will meet just in that town, cause our objective is to go winning territory at all cost to go weakening the enemy.

Enemy troops will start deploying as we can see here:
Being the dark blue arrows the enemy troops and the light blue circle us and our allie's. We must count in how many enemy troops that are deployed an aproximate of 40 to 50 troops, and not forgetting that our allie's are less than 20. So I repeat, we need strategy.

Now that we know our position and enemy deployment, lets proceed.
The strategy
It was really hard to be able to make the screenshots in the middle of the combat, as we must concentrate a lot at the time of accomplish our strategy, because of that I were not able to put the screenshots, however I will try to be as clear as possible.

1.- What we must be aware to be able to win is that as an armored vehicle we count with a assault amphibian, the one that is bullet proof (to low caliber bullets), but this does not mean that it will not suffer any damage in the motor or the cannon of the machine gun after being under enemy fire during a considerable time

2.- Considering this we must see with which equipment and armor enemy does use:
As we read, Counts with Anti-tank infantry, which are equipped specifically with special grenades to destroy vehicles like our amphibian, as well a fact we can use as our advantage is the inmediate elimination of anti-tank enemies

3.- What should I do with the amphibian?
My recommendation is that YOU should drive the amphibian, as well you will be able to localize enemies and move into them between some covers (even killing some enemies crushing them with our vehicle, so we save up some ammo, by the fact we have it very limited) while our soldier in the cannon kills the enemies and at the same time the one who tells the coordinates of enemy deployment in the compass and indicates us what is the position that each of them does (BE CAREFUL WITH THE ANTI-TANK).

My recommendation of being the driver is after we have experienced every position in the vehicle, giving me as result:

a) While being the chief (the one who spots enemies and gives coordinates)
Having that position for us we have some disadvantages as it is the slow retrovisor spin, that for our vehicle to move on we must be ordering always our soldier to move to "X" Position, that is our soldier is moving the amphibian to move where we need to, our visor spins automatically and we cant aim in a peaceful way and point the enemies.

b) Being the machine gun guy
Being in this position we have advantages and disadvantages, the disadvantages are the same that being the chief. The advantage is that sighting an enemy anti-tank we can immediately eliminate him and its squad passing by, but being more disadvantages over advantages,we can not take the risk.

c) Being the driver
Using this position we can move the amphibian at any direction if we consider it necessary, example, if we see a anti-tank to protect our vehicle (as it is our only armored unit). Another advantage is that being the driver is that our soldiers spin quicker (the cannon and the visor), and this is very helpful to eliminate more enemies (also the AI does not wastes ammunition). Plus, while we advance through the battlefield, we can run over entire squad's that are under contention of ally squad's.

4.- Not sure where to localize or deploy enemy troops to you?
No problem, Listen to ally comunicates, so you will be able to localize yourself and see if you are exposed to a finishing anti-tank hit or if you are in attack position. If you still do not know in what position the anti-tank shooter, try to hide between the houses in the town, always trying to ubicate them to eliminate them. And, if you see other enemies dont leave them alive, finish everything that is in your way.

5.- They damaged my amphibian, its the end of the world.
When someone damages your amphibian dont freak out, just go down and repair it, just take care of your surroundings, try not to get shoot by the back. Once you repair it, go on and continue.

6.- Always you see very low enemy activity, support your allie's with medic.

7.- If you made it this far, your squad is complete and you still have allie's in the town, you have almost reached the victory. If you notice there are not so many enemies, positionate your amphibian in a safe place and go down, to deploy your squad in "Hold your fire" against remaining enemies and focusing on finishing them one by one. If they hurt you, bandage the wound.

8.- The prior mission positions you to defend the south side , but you must not concentrate only in that sector, Support the others, if you dont, they will finish them up little by little until leaving you alone.

All of this strategic facts helped me to successfully complete this mission, i will show you my result:
Note
As I do in every single guide I do, I never pretend to make a "law" of how to complete the mission or some map, I only pretend to give some tips that might be of utility to the fans of war simulation games, being one of the genres i am most dedicated to, I like to share my experiences and that the others also do it, I hope my guide helps you tu complete this mission that I worked so hard.

Cheers friends.

I've done this entire mission without using any transport, I just followed the allied infantry, there are wrecks of vehicles behind which you can hide. After eliminating all the AT teams with the ol' , trusty M16 I turned right and climbed up the hill to kill the spotters. I throwed many grenades in their direction, they I went to check if any of them surived, and of course, one of them poped up and shot me in the face. I did this once again, this time I killed all the spotters, then I walked to the town, just where the number 1 is, there is a chinese lasergun machine gun, which only requires 1 hit to kill and has pinpoint accuracy, I board it and then I was shooting at the guys coming from front, while also paying attention to the guys sneaking from right.

I also love when they say "spent HOURS" and yet, they have a total of 57 minutes logged on the game HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA "I spent 'HOURS' in my 57 minutes of play time" xD

bro just steal the LAV at the beginning and this mission is a cake walk, clear the AT teams on the beach then clear the spotters at the radio tower then stay on the hill where the radio tower is and clear all the AT teams from there, when you're at the end of the mission STAY on the same hill and you can literally just defend the village from there.... easy peasy. and yet there's dude's talking about how they "spent HOURS before they even made it to the radio tower", that's a DEFINITE SKILL ISSUE xD

I managed to complete this mission by getting into the barn, the building just right an beneath the 1 in the screenshot of the map. The barn has stairs leading to a higher floor, from there you have vision of almost all the locations the enemies come from. Equip a 'marksman' gun an carefully aim with single shots. I did not move the APC, which helped me get rid of some of the enemies. One final hint, pay attention to the radar (enemies and locations will show up on it, at least on normal difficulty).
