"The Berthier M16 was a higher capacity and slightly updated version of the M1892 Berthier mousqueton. The Berthier M16 saw an additional 2 rounds added to the capacity of the Mle 1892 mousqueton - which, while only bringing the rifle up to par with other carbines for the time (e.g. Kar98az) made for a considerable difference."

Ah, 5 shot capacity, that will be nice. Still uses those slick en bloc clips, too. To be honest, I kind of prefer en bloc clips to stripper clips, even though they often remove the ability to load a partial clip. You have to eject the whole thing, then load in a fresh clip, though it should be mentioned that although many believe the M1 Rifle can't be reloaded with single rounds, it is in fact possible. Not particularly EASY, but it's possible. With single stack en bloc clips however, nah, you'd have to remove the clip, but single rounds into the clip, leaving your rifle empty, then loading the clip into the rifle when you're finished.
