"Just another fan dossier im not that great at drawing so i made a 3D model of the creature (and the bubbles) then used paint to add the rest. I real life the real things were TINY and i mean tiny as in you could have a few sit on your hand this one is ment to be about the size of the average persons arm
this things toxin is ment to make anything that is effected by it slowly lose health and if they try to move they end up randomly turning right or left by a random amount

so the best why to kill it is with a weapon like a bow, a pick, a pike what ever just dont come in contact (that includes mounts to!)

in my eyes hallucigenia is cute others is ugly beyond help :P

Wild
A very odd creature but yet just as effective. they feed on small clams and other small creatures which they sting with their tentacles and wait for their odd toxin to do its work. They may be carnivores but they are very timid and will flee from anything bigger then them if attacked and their attackers get a dose of hallucigenic poison which aids in their escape only their natural predator the Pteranodon is immune to it they also seem to gather around coral reefs and underwater caves to provide protection from Pteranodons.

Domesticated
I have never seen anyone tame these strange creatures but some tribes have them to harvest for their spines which can be used as toxic arrows or purified into narcotics. On another note i have seen some tribes use Pteranodons to carry them into ditches which turns them into toxic moats that almost nothing can cross but these tribes call them a double edged sword because they are as useful as they are deadly

Their spines grow back at an amazing rate and their toxins run in their blood stream so anything that simply comes in contact with it even if they kill it are bound to feel the toxic effects which makes gatherings of them ward off even Megolodons"
