Battleblock Theater - Weapons Tier List

If anyone has checked out the Castle Crashers steam guides list you'll know that there are a lot of tier lists. Battleblock Theater needs that love, too. And what better way to start then with the most useful objects in the game: Weapons! (tools)

This list is unfinished! Right now the only rating I can confirm is true is the Acid Bubble, as it is the best in the game.

Summary

Not all Weapons and Tools are the same. Every single one of them can be used and all of them are great. But some are slightly better then others. This game is more balanced then Castle Crashers, so it's much harder to make tier lists for it, which is one of the reasons this is probably the only one you'll ever see.

I will have a quick version, where the weapons are organized on a neat and easy to read grid, and a detailed version, where I go over every weapon one by one. At the you'll get a quick video displaying every weapon in action. Please watch and make sure to subscribe to my Youtube!

Grading System

My grades aren't technical like with points or anything, but are judged off of the number of uses that a weapon/tool has. Note that the use has to be USEFUL.

Here's what I look for in a good weapon/tool (in order from highest to lowest):

• Helps Movement (Lets you go places much faster, this is only useful in levels mostly)
  
• Ability to kill (Great for arenas)
  
• Shielding (Also great for arenas)

Please note that weapons have certain specialties for certain things. For instance, the Vacuum is great for Ball Game but not for anything else. The forceball is great for levels and can even help you skip up to half of it if you use it right. You aren't going to be playing ball game as much as a normal level, right?
Some have MULTIPLE uses. The fan is great for ball game and can shield projectiles. The Acid Bubble is great for normal levels and arena modes. Being good at normal levels is good, and being good for all arena modes is better then just one.

This tier list is very early in development, too. So please leave suggestions in the comments - Even I can be wrong!

	Grenade	Can explode enemies easily, very offensive	88 (A-)
	Fan	Shield projectiles and use them against enemies, pushes enemies	88 (A-)
	Ice Cannon	Freeze enemies, great range, bounces off walls	87 (A-)
	Fire Ball	Give burning friends boosts off water, spreads from person to person	85 (B+)
	Boomerang	Collects jems, knocks out enemies	85 (B+)
	Vacuum	Great for ball game, can stop enemies that are running away	80 (B-)
	Dodgeball	Bounce off it, and knock out enemies!	79 (C+)

The complicated version of my tier list. The amount of points given for a certain use is how well it excutes to use.

Acid Bubble

The most powerful weapon in Battleblock Theater - The Acid Bubble! With many uses, the bubble can be your favorite weapon easily.
+2 Points - Killing ability
+4 Points - Moving Assist
+0 Points - Effected by air (This could be a pro or a con)
+1 Points - Stays out for a long period of time
Total: 7 Points

I use the Vacuum because if you aim it right, you can make projectiles move past you, and not hit you. Also you can suck up airplanes, acid bubbles, and more with it. I also use the fan to shoot grenades and stuff back at enemies, but that's just a preference.

Its a pretty good guide but in my opinion the wepeons rating are not the best For example boomerang should be top 5 or something its super usefull in ball game and super usefull in story mode too but overall great guide
