Treadmill on a Treadmill - Easy Dance Method
By NoVa
Heyo fellow Defenders!

With the recent release of Moonbase challenge which includes two unique pets, of which one of them, namely Treadmill on a Treadmill (ToT), is particularly difficult to obtain, based on this fact I've decided to share some of my knowledge about how to make its obtaining bit easier.

Familiarization
First before first, let's have a quick overview about this pet.
  • This pet can be obtained only on Nightmare(HC) difficulty.
  • It belongs to a Treadmill family, and same as his other counterparts, its pure purpose is being a tower/stat pet, outputting no DPS results.
  • Its stats cap at 700, however it has a chance to spawn over the cap up to diamond-like 800.
  • Level required to equip this pet is 100.
  • And as some other Treadmills, this one also provides a hero speed boost equal to 45%.
Obtaining
In order to obtain ToT, you need to get access to the Fish in a Bowl pet first, which requires pushing 2 hidden buttons across the map and also scoring 30+ score on the Dance Machine. After clicking on the Fish, which is essential, without touching it you won't be rewarded even though you've done all other steps (note: clicking on Fish before doing the last additional step is not required, the last step can be done before touching the Fish, so the order in which you do these steps doesn't matter), you also need to score the magic number 42 on the Dance Machine. Nevertheless, you also need to complete the map in order to acquire the ToT.

note: you can also score 42 on the first try, both to get access to the Fish and also as a part of acquiring the ToT, if you do manage so, you don't need to dance again after clicking on Fish

The Dance Method
This method I'm going to present is a guaranteed success, if! you do manage to do it correctly. It may take some practice, as the Dance Machine itself is buggy sometimes and for some not an easy task to complete.
So the method consists of two reasonable versions:

1) Yellow Difficulty
    [1] Selecting the yellow difficulty.
[2] Successfully hitting all the arrows without a single miss and stopping at a score of 55.
[3] With at least one missed arrow, score once a right/correct arrow.
[4] Repeat the step [3] one more time.
note: in other words, scoring twice 1 point each time you let go by at least one arrow
[5] Wait as the score decreases, ending up at a desired score of 42.
    [6] Winning the map.

2) Blue Difficulty
    [1] Selecting the blue difficulty.
[2] Successfully hitting all the arrows without a single miss and stopping at a score of 65.
[3] With at least one missed arrow, score once a right/correct arrow.
[4] Wait as the score decreases, ending up at a desired score of 42.
    [5] Winning the map.

Other difficulties
Below I'll add the remaining two difficulties, just for the completionist sake, but I do not recommend attempting those as they can be very frustrating and not worth your time, but nevertheless worth a shot for those seeking a challenge.

3) Green Difficulty
    [1] Selecting the green difficulty.
[2] Successfully hitting all the arrows without a single miss and stopping at a score of 75.
[3] Wait as the score decreases, ending up at a desired score of 42.
    [4] Winning the map.

⚠ 4) RED Difficulty ⚠

ERROR 404: Explanation not found.

.....yeeee good luck with that.
Summary
That concludes this quick and brief showcase about making ToT's obtaining somewhat easier. On the end I'd like to mention few words:
  • Feel free to check DDFRBR group where many nice and helpful Defenders play DD daily and where you can also find me in the group chat.
  • And also feel free to take a look at my other guides.
  • Special thanks to the kindest soul miss jemmajule for grammar & spelling checking, you're awesome! ♥
If this guide was helpful or useful for you in any way, you can express your thanks by rating or leaving a feedback, which both are as always highly appreciated.
And the very last words, thank you for your time spending reading this guide.

Regards,
NoVa

Do the different difficulties change the level/stats of the ToT at all?

@r4ch
Did you follow each listed step correctly and in the right order?
Did you compare listed steps to the provided video example and made sure you're doing it the same?
What do you mean by 4 credits ?
Also, unless there has been a sneaky update that somehow changed the mechanics of the DDR machine, the latest post of mine below is posted upon repeating the listed methods in the latest game version confirming they're still up to date.

As of January 31st 2018 on the most recent version 8.3.1, all three detailed methods are still up to date and correct. Must have done some mistake in the process, gotta keep trying.

Nice guide. It helped me get a few TrT's, but the DDR needs a lot of bug fixing as it doesn't provide good feedback. The counter for example has never been correct in my games when I get a treadmill.

haha, i guess he just has a buggy dance machine such as me :)

you hit, it count backwards... you completely leave the pod... it count towards :) weird machine... needs fixes but not your fault :)
