Necro-posting by like five years or so, but this helped me out a lot. Very nice preset for TP perspective. I'm gonna do some more tests with this, but I'm gonna see whether this still works with a keybind. Maybe take it further than that, I'd love to see if anyone would make a plugin or script for this. I'm not savvy with that kind of thing, but I see potential here.

Yeah that looks much better. maybe a bit /too/ close, but definately an improvement.

The funny thing with youtube is, it /looks/ like it is at a higher FPS than I can achievem in games. Even with watching videos on my phone at 720p HD or 1080p HD it seems SOOOO much smoother than I can actually get in game.

Yeah, it is a bit far now that I think about it. Here's how it looks a little closer - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=519412651

And I think that blurriness is coming from Youtube compression! Sorry about that.

Also, in the video do you have motion blur on? If so I think you should turn it off because when you move the camera it seems the player model gets blurry.

Ok cool. I just feel like it's a bit too far away. I honestly wouldn't use it as A) I don't run a custom server and B) I rarely go on community servers.

Yes you can! It's inversely related to cam_idealdist.

Can you make the camera closer to the player model? That's the only issue I have with this. Otherwise it's really cool! Doesn't look like CS GO anymore with the new animtions.
