Afghanistan

Common

Gerbil

This animal is small, but very common. Its habitat is almost everywhere in Afghanistan AND Africa.
Capture with CAPTURE CAGE.

Common Raven

Ravens are so common as their name says. They are all around Afghanistan AND Africa as well. You can either shoot them from the sky, find them sitting on rocks or capture them in cages too. Anything works, really.

Griffon Vulture

Vultures are common, but not very easy to find. They mostly fly high in the sky, but sometimes you can find it sitting on the rocks around the roads.

Karakul Sheep

Its a sheep! you will gotta have to fulton it out. Dont mistake it with another species. There is many other sheeps - but it should not be a problem. These are almost everywhere too.

Cashmere Goat

Cashmeres are similar to sheeps so you might get confused and least it alone. But it lives only on one spot and is easy to find so take it with you anyway.

Wild A ss (Donkey)

It is only on the one location in Afghanistan. But easy to find. They travel in groups.

Gray Wolf

Gray Wolves are common, but can attack you when they see you. Better catch them fast. They can be found on the multiple locations too. Take a DD if you ate having trouble.

Deathstalker

Place your cages in the grass or between rocks. You will have bigger chance to find one.

Leopard Gecko

it lives around whole region. Capture with cages.

Bachstein's Bat

A small bat that appears almost every time you set up a cages. If you dont find any mouses, you find bats. On 100%

Oriental Stork

A large white bird. Can be fultoned away. Appears only during mission CLOAKED IN SILENCE (11)

Uncommon

Long-eared Hedgehog

Hedgehogs are also very small animals. But they also live all around the area, so you just need to put up some cages as well.

Russian Tortoise

It sometimes appears when you set up some cages for small animals. its uncommon so it does not come that much. But it happens.

Oriental Ratsnake

Best place to get one is right on the LZ near Spugmay Keep

Rare

Afghan Pika

Very tiny, guinea-pig like, animal. It runs fast su its hard to capture by hands. But not impossible But it captures in cages everytime.

Brown Bear

Its a rare animal. Lives in the mountains, but its easy to capture. With one precise headshot with traq gun its yours.

Sand Cat

Sand Cats dig their nests underground so they are almost impossible to find roaming around. But you can capture some in the cages if you are lucky.

Black Stork

A Black Stork living in Afghanistan and Africa. Refer to screenshots for a location.

Red Fox

Put up the cages in one place and fly away. You should get at least one.

Super Rare

Himalayan Brown Bear

You have only one chance to capture this one, which is during a SIDE OP mission number 48. He is very tough though, requies at least 5 to 8 shots to be put down to sleep, so be careful. Sometimes he can attack you and sometimes he runs away.

Caracal

Cute...but completely lacking the nobility of an ocelot. - Adamska.
Fly to the LZ and place cages up the hill. Like on the screenshot.

Blandford's Fox

A different type of fox. Closes LZ is in the ruins. Place cages in the location close to the screenshot.

Ultra Rare

There are no UR animals in Afghanistan

Common

Side-striped Jackal

It roams only around roads and abandoned houses.

African Fat-tailed Gecko

One of the common lizards you can capture with a cage. They are everywhere in the region.

Trumpeter Hornbill

Cool bird bro. It loves to catch itself in cages.

Lappet-faced Vulture

A distant bro to the Vulture in Afghanistan. Lives near the Mines in Africa.

Emperor Scorpion

It loves to lurk in tall grass or grassy terrain.

Uncommon

Four-toed Hedgehog

Its tiny, and hard to find. But you have some change if you put out some cages. Its hard to find anything in Africa with cages, but the chance is there.

Rainbow Agama

With some luck, it can be captures with a cage.

Black Mamba

Mambas are uncommon snakes. I have found some around Bampeve Plantation.

Leopard Tortoise

For some people, its really hard to get. But, try to place cages in the grassy areas. Its a toroise so it does not live near water.

Rare

African Wild Dog

It travels in doubles and roams around during daytime, mostly. Also capturable during the mission VOICES.

Black Stork

A bird similar to a White Stork. Lives near water and can be fultoned or captured in a cage.

Martial Eagle

Place capture cages in its location.

Rock Hyrax

It lives near the rocks and rocky surfaces. Capture with cages.

Namaqua Chameleon

(I think this bro is very cute.)

African Bullfrog

Frog usually lives near the water. Put some cages in the river on its location.

Super Rare

Tree Pangolin

Right on its location is an LZ. Place all the cages right next to the LZ and leave. Pangolin.. check!

Okapi

Okapi is one of the rarest animals in the world. Did you know?

African Civet

Fly to the LZ and place cages right next to it.

Marsh Mongoose

It lives near the water in marshes. Place your cages in the location. There is an LZ around 400m away from that place.

Honey Badger

There is an LZ cloe to its location. Place the cages on that location and leave.

Anubis

Obtainable only during SIDE OP 50

Ultra Rare

Tsuchinoko

A legendary snake living in the marshy lands.

Jehuty

For anyone with a problem with Blandford's Fox, you need to place the Capture Cages, on top of the rocks not on the ground

tfw when you capture the Tsuchinoko by pure accident lol. I had forgotten to place some traps before calling the chopper and just put then randomly in the river when I realized it (simply because that's where I was standing when it came to me)

For the Blandfords fox, I placed it on a large standing rock in the area.

The leopard tortise; take the LZ south of Masa and place traps in the green bushes on the side of the hill and not in the water. Worked for me. Saw some say the east side of Masa Works as well.
