Due to a washout on the Union Pacific Moffat Subdivision Amtrak is rerouting the famous California Zephyr over the UP Laramie Subdivision. A UP ES44AC has been assigned to pulling the train. You are at Buford awaiting the arrival of late Eastbound intermodal operating on Track 1. Once it clears Track 1 into Buford Center siding you can proceed to your crew change in Laramie. Difficulty: easy, duration: 56 minutes.

I love the scenario, Dan. Managed to knock it out in 44 minutes and 41 seconds. Then again, I'm using the Searchlight Simulations GE GEVO-12 mod + UTS GEVO Enhancement Mod plus the Amtrak P42DC Empire Builder Enhancement Mod, EMD 16N-710G3B by Searchlight Simulations and Krellnut's Wagon Sounds Mod to make the equipment sound much quicker. That being said, is the SD70M led autorack train at Laramie supposed to move, because when I passed it, it was standing still. Then again, maybe it's because I was early. Maybe it moves at a later time.
