✻ABOUT THE ACHIEVEMENTS AND INSIGHTS✻

Achievements: There are 19 achievements in the game (15 without the DLC). They are story-related or related to insights, so you don't have to worry, just enjoy the game. :)

Insights: Insights are mostly found within levels by approaching owls when you see them. There are a total of 24 Cultural Insights to collect and watch for all of the related achievements.

✻PRE-GAME✻

Insights:

#1 - A Living People, A Living Culture - This one is unlocked automatically before even starting the game.

#2 - It Would Be Really Nice to Hear a Story - This one is unlocked automatically before even starting the game.

#3 - Scrimshaw - Unlocks automatically at the end of the opening cut scene.

✻CHAPTER 1: PRELUDE✻

No Insights



Achievement - Close Call : *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 1: Prelude.

✻CHAPTER 2: TUNDRA✻

Insights:

#4 - Arctic Fox: Unlocks after the start

#5 - Caribou & Clothing: After the scene when you learn how to brace against the wind

#6 - Sija Has a Soul: After jumping the three platforms

#7 - Trapping Trail: You will get it when you reach the top of the rock

Achievement - Tundra Expert: You found all Cultural Insights in the Tundra.



Achievement - Homecoming: *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 2: Tundra.

✻CHAPTER 3: NUNA'S VILLAGE✻

Insights:

#8 - The Heartbeat of the Community: After meeting the Owl Man

#9 - Little People: It is in the area where there are two little people.

#10 - Bola: After meeting the Owl Man again

Achievement - Village Historian: You found all Cultural Insights in Nuna's Village.





Achievement - Bola Expert: *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 3: Nuna's Village.

✻CHAPTER 4: ICE FLOES✻

Insights:

#11 - Stranded: Unlock automatically

#12 - No More Thick Ice: After escaping from the polar bear

#13 - A Girl & Her Nunaq: In the scene, where you navigate the ice structures. Use the fox to grab the owl.

Achievement - The Cold Truth: You found all Cultural Insights in the Ice Floes.




Achievement - Swallowed: *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 4: Ice Floes.

✻CHAPTER 5: WHALE SPIRIT✻

Insights:

#14 - Substience Lifestyle: At the beginning of the chapter, you must use the bola to destroy the wall- the owl is behind of it

#15 - Everything is Alive: The owl is behind the icicle (you have to destroy it with your bola)

#16 - Sharing for Survival: Shortly after #15

Achievement - Swimming Through History: You found all Cultural Insights in the Whale Spirit.



Achievement - Sea and Air: *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 5: Whale Spirit.

✻CHAPTER 6: COASTAL VILLAGE✻

Insights:

#17 - King Island: at the beginning of the chapter

#18 - Northern Lights: after the small puzzle (when you have to drag a platform)

#19 - The Month of Night: the owl will be on the platform after swinging across the third rope

Achievement - Seaside Lessons: You found all Cultural Insights in the Coastal Village.



Achievement - Highs and Lows: *Story-related. Cannot be missed* Unlocks at the end of Chapter 6: Coastal Village.

✻CHAPTER 7: FOREST✻

Insights:

#20 - Animal Spirits : in the start of the chapter

#21 - Rebirth and Naming: you can get it, when you navigate the platforms.

✻CHAPTER 8: FOREST LAKE✻

Insights:

#22 - Manslayer: after the boss battle

Achievement - Dendrologist



Achievement - The Old Ways

✻CHAPTER 9: TUNDRA MEADOW✻

Insights:

#23 - Reading the Weather: after the cut scene with the ice giant, head to the right. Instead of going upwards to proceed with the story, jump down and head all the way to the right to find this owl.

✻CHAPTER 10: FOREST✻

Yes, pc games handle achievements differently than console ones. You need the dlc if you want to get 100% achievements. The summer sale is here soon, the dlc should have a discount

I have only the base game and have done all the achievements, but it says I'm still missing 4 hidden achievements. I'm guessing that's the 4 DLC achievements even though I don't have the DLC?

Did you try to reset your save file? Maybe that should help. That achievement should unlock at the end of the chapter.

i did the necesary for achievement "highs and lows" in chapter 6, i did it 3 times, but i have not the achievent....:(
