High Stakes
This is a massive mod of the scenario "The German Question". There are lots of new nations to liberate. Buildings, units and research tree have been streamlined. Some statistical data was adjusted to be more correct. The map was modified to remove unimportant areas and making it possible to cross some sea regions without transports in some cases to favor the AI. And much more :)

Map Adjustments
Spot the difference, move faster, less annoyances and some AI favors
  • Changed the colors of all nations
  • Connected some island with each other so no transports are needed when moving inside the island group, e. g. Indonesian Islands, Philippine Islands, Japanese Islands, British Islands, Greek Islands and some more...
  • Connected some minor islands to the continent for the same purpose, e.g. Bornholm, Gotland, Aland and some more...
  • Removed some unimportant arctic regions, e.g. Svalbard, Nordgronland, regions in Northern Canda and Alaska
  • Adjusted a lot of population counts to be more correct
  • Added some new cities, e.g. Cetinje (Montenegro), Gomel (Belarus), Brunei, Omaha (USA), Palma (Spain), Dresden (Germany), Yakutsk, Ulan-Ude (both USSR), Hohot (Mengjiang), Tianjin (Fascist China), Yinchuan (Xibei San Ma), Haikou (Guangdong), Naha, Hakodate, Matsuyama (all Japan), Guwahati, Patna (both British Raj), Port Said (UK) and maybe some more...

City Buildings Adjustments
Less micro management for production and supply
  • New Building: Basic Factory which is faster to build for 1 IPU cities.
  • All factory types are build-able once in a city to keep player/AI balance.
  • Disabled Aircraft Plant, Munitions Plant and Shipyard
  • Renamed Air Force Academy, Military Academy and Naval Academy to Air Force Base, Army Base and Naval Base
  • Air Force Base allows planes, Army allows Arms and Naval Base provides a Shipyard
  • Disabled Orbital Science, Jet Propulsion and Nuclear Lab keeping only the Rocket Lab.
  • There is a complete new build option in cities called "Labor Service". This makes it possible to turn MPUs into needed resources.

mainly to assist the game Ai and to balance power of USSR a bit. esp. reflecting easier conquest of these territories after an attack of Germany and also the possibility to puppet them by Germany which would not be possible on how the AI works. also from political perspective: Belarus and Ukraine where official founding members of the UN beside the (rest of) USSR in 1945.
pre war the Red Army had divisions based on its memberstates, this is also reflected in this mod with different nationalities (iirc). Belarus and Ukraine are playing a special role in the history of the USSR incl. the time frame of this mod.

its just ascenario, but with some extended modifications, vanilla versions remain unaffected

I just tried that, took over china as japan, no "basic factory" :( so now i got to wait 200 to 300 turns for a cotton factory DX
