GTA V NO SHUTTER GUIDE (what worked for me)

First I want to tell you that my pc is very bad and i was getting random freezes or hangs of the game at random times....(which i;ve seen many get even on powerfull pc specs)
Pc specs AMD dual core 6000+
Gforce gtx 460 1gb
4 gb ram

First nvidia control panel settings http://imgur.com/IqAjSh3,IRGRSDy#0 and http://imgur.com/IqAjSh3,IRGRSDy#1 (also turn vsync on in the game)

Then set your pagefile to 12k on the same drive that you installed the game http://imgur.com/oxZgYIY

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Then the most important thing.... when you start the game from steam go to task manager fast and set gtagamelauncher priority to low and gta.exe( game) to high. Do this right after you click on play gta v from steam

With those settings I can play the game max rezolution (1680x1050) ... all set to normal aniso 16x ofc not many frames(25-50) because my pc is bad but no lagging or freeze or shutter or whatever you wanna call it.

probably you would play the story mode on lowest settings but online? no way.

Turning on Vsync will make performance worse, so turn it off for better results

I'm running a Ryzen 9 with 64gb of ram and a 2080 card - before then, I just about gave up playing because I had to "dumb" it down so much. Glad to hear you got it working. I spent a few years fighting with it and almost gave up and then got Gifted - this much faster computer.
