This mod adds a new faction to Reassembly known as Salt.
Salt are similar to Borg, but are more salty.

Salt are unable to gather resources, and lack in armor
Salt make up for this with their powerful drones and numbers.

• A tractor block (Converter)
  
• 3 kinds of hull block (Salt, Tungsten, and Osmium)
  
• 5 kinds of drones (Swarm, Scout, Defend, Protect, and Plot)
  
• Growable buildings (Sub Cores from the Sub Fracture)
  
• Solar panels (Cells)
  
• ROCKS (ROCKS)
  
• Lots of lasers (Focuses)
  
• Environmental blocks (ROCKS)
  
• A spinal laser (Focus 3|2)
  
• Generators (Quartz, in half, full and double block flavors)
  
• R Storage (Reservoirs)
  
• 2 kinds of thruster (Vent and Sail)
  
• ROCKS (in ROCK and ROCK flavors)
  And a bunch of custom ships that use these blocks (48 of them!)

Q: Why don't you just update the old mod, and not bother with a second workshop page?
A: v2 uses a completely different set of IDs. If I replaced the old version with this one, it could break everyone's saves. This way, people are able to switch when they are ready.

Q: Why are they so salty?
A: Because they're sick of your attitude.

Q: Why can't I pick up R?
A: Because Salt can't pick up R. Get some Cells and grow your own!

Q: Isn't that boring?
A: Maybe. I quite like it though.

Q: What is the sub fracture supposed to do?
A: It's supposed to work like the farmer's seed planter. They don't always seem to work for some reason though

Q: Why haven't you updated this mod in so long?
A: I'm pretty lazy, and to be honest, bad at modding. I'll try to keep this mod in at least playable levels though, in the event that an update breaks it.

Q: How'd you make the icon look all pretty like that?
A: I used Splinter's Graphics Overhaul. I like it.
