Karambit Fades
There are many different fades for the Karambit Fade. So when you ask somebody what their fade is on their karambit they will say something like this ''My karambit is a #/#/# fade''. Those number signs represents the percent of fade it has. The first one is pink (2nd best color) the 2nd number is purple (3rd best color) and the 3rd number is yellow (rarest color). Fades can go from a 30/70 (worst possible fade) to a 90/10 true (best fade). Unlikes many knives, the fades usually have a set price. Usually people will ask around the same prices for the the same fades. The best fades of the Karambit Fades are hard to find with a low Float value. Low float values are very common in the lower tier fades. So lets get started!

30/70 Karambit Fade.
The 30/70 is the lowest tier of fade you can get. It has the most purple out of any of the fades. There is also no yellow on this karambit. This is a entry level knife for high tier knife enthusiast. Usually you can find these knives fairly easy in low float values. This knife is a very easy to trade knife. So if you are looking for a good high tier knife with a lower cost than many other high tier knives, this is the one for you. The way to tell if a Karambit Fade is a 30/70 is by looking at the the right tip of the hand grip. If the purple is to the right of it, its a 30/70. If it is right on the tip, its a 40/60.

Pros:
1. A very easy to trade knife.
2. Very common to find in a good float value.
3. Its on the high tier side of knives.
4. Cheapest out of the Karambit Fades.

Cons:
1. Lots of purple.
2. No yellow.
3. Fairly common. (This could be a pro, this is more of a preference)

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9

40/60 Karambit Fade.
The 40/60 is almost the same knife as the 30/70. They both don't have yellow and cost about the same. The 40/60 has 10% more pink than the 30/70. The 40/60 is also a good high tier starting knife along with the 30/70. In my opinion I would recommend a 30/70 just because of its cheaper price. There is a slight difference in looks between the 30/70 and 40/60. These are also very easy to trade knives. Low float values are also very common with these knives.

Pros:
1. Considered a high tier knife.
2. On the cheaper side of the high tier knives.
3. More pink than the 30/70.

Cons:
1. Cost more than a 30/70.
2. Has less than 50% pink.
3. No yellow

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 8.5

60/40 Karambit Fade.
The 60/40 is the cheapest Karambit Fade that has more than 50% pink. This knife is a very nice knife for somebody looking to spend a little more for more pink. This knife is also common to get in a low float value along with the 30/70 and 40/60. If you have a 30/70, this is the knife that will worth it to upgrade to. It has more pink than the 40/60 and cost a tad bit more. This in my opinion is the best Karambit Fade for the price. This knife also has a very consistent price and people are always looking to trade for them. The way to tell if it is a 60/40 is by looking at the pink. If the pink passes the right tip of the hand grip and stops at the left, its a 60/40.

Pros:
1. More than 50% pink.
2. Good price to quality ratio.
3. Common to find in a low float value.
4. Good knife to upgrade fades to.

Cons:
1. No yellow

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9

70/30 Karambit Fade.
The 70/30 is the best Karambit Fade before you get to karambits with yellow. The 70/30 has 10% more pink than the 60/40. Along with all the other karambits we have been over, these also are common to find in a low float value. The 70/30 is like the middle child of the Karambit Fade family. Its one of the harder karambits to trade due to it being so close in price to the 70/29/1 and the 60/40. The way to tell if its a 70/30 is by looking at the hand grip. If there is pink to the left of the left tip and there is no yellow, its a 70/30.

Pros:
1. The best fade before yellow comes into the fades.
2. More pink than the 60/40.
3. Comes in low float values.

Cons:
1. Harder to trade due to it being so close in price with the 60/40 and the 70/29/1.
2. Marking point of where the fades start to get pricey.
3. No yellow

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 7

70/29/1 Karambit Fade.
Finally. The first yellow Karambit Fade. This fade is the entry level for the yellow karambits. It has 1% yellow on it. Which might not seem like a lot, but people still seem to like it. The 70/29/1 is so close to the 70/30 in price. The 70/29/1 is fairly easy to trade since its the cheapest yellow fade. Along with all the other fades we have been over, this one is common to find in a low float value. This karambit marks the line for the low tier fades and the mid tier fades. The way to tell if it is a 70/29/1 is by looking and seeing if there is yellow. If there is yellow you will notice that the purple starts at the bottom left corner instead of the top left corner

Pros:
1. Has yellow.
2. Has less purple than the previous fades.
3. Easy to trade.
4. Common in low float values.

Cons
1. Pricey
2. Still has a fair amount of purple.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9

80/17/3 Karambit Fade.
The 80/17/3 is a great looking fade. Its very good for the price because it has a fair amount of yellow on it. This fade has 3% yellow on it. This knife with a low float value is easy to find. This knife seems to change in price a lot compared to the other fades. The reason being cause it has the same amount of yellow as the 90/7/3 has. The way to tell if this knife is a 80/17/3 is buy looking at the the left tip of the hand grip. If there is purple there, it isnt a 80/17/3. If the purple starts below the corner (look at pictures below) than it is a 80/17/3.

Pros:
1. Nice amount of yellow.
2. Only 17% purple.
3. Lots of pink.

Cons:
1. Pricey
2. Prices change a lot.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 7

90/7/3 Karambit Fade.
The 9/7/3 marks the point of where the purple is going extinct on the fades. On the 90/7/3 there is only 7% purple and 3% yellow. These knives are very easy to trade. Very common to find them in a low float value condition. This fade has the same amount of yellow as the 80/17/3 does, but has less purple on it. Due to it having very little purple on it, people really want them. Its very easy to tell if these are a 90/7/3. When the purple crosses the curved part of the blade, its very faded. Its not solid purple (see pictures below).

Pros:
1. Easy to trade.
2. Common to find with a low float value.
3. Very little purple.
4. 3% yellow.

Cons:
1. Still has purple.
2. Has the same amount of yellow that the 80/17/3 has.
3. Pricey

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9

90/5/5 Karambit Fade.
The 90/5/5 is a 90% pink, 5% purple and 5% yellow. This knife marks the line for mid to high tier fades. This knife is just stunning. These are ultra easy to trade. These are uncommon to find in a good float value. If you have a 90/7/3, I would recommend trading up to one of these knives. The way to tell if it is a 90/5/5 is by seeing how far down the purple is (look at the picture below). The 90/7/3's purple is higher up on the knife compared to the 90/5/5.

Pros:
1. Looks amazing.
2. 5% Yellow.
3.Only 5% purple

Cons:
1. Still has purple.
2. Uncommon in low float values.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9

90/3/7 Karambit Fade.
We are almost there boys, almost no purple. This amazing knife only has 3% purple. A stunning 7% yellow. People will try to trade this knife calling it a ''Fake 90/10''. Well sorry, its not. A fake 90/10 is different. This knife is very good to trade, but tough to find in a low float value condition. With the nice amount of yellow people really like this knife. The way to tell if this knife is a 90/3/7 is by seeing if any purple goes over the curve (look at picture below).

Pros:
1. 7% Yellow.
2. 3% Purple.
3. High demand.
4. Easy to trade.

Cons:
1. Still has purple.
2. Hard to find in a low float value.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9.5

Fake 90/10 Karambit Fade.
This knife is very important for me to go over. People will try to scam you saying these are true 90/10s when they really arent. These knives are super easy to trade. They are also hard to find in low float values. These knives arent really 90/10s but they aren't really 90/3/7s. They are in the middle of those 2 knives. The way to tell if its a Fade 90/10 is by looking at the purple (look at the example below).

Pros:
1. Very little purple.
2. Lots of yellow
3. Looks almost like a True 90/10

Cons:
1. Many people get scammed by this knife.
2. Still has purple.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 9.5

True 90/10 Karambit Fade.
The best possible Karambit Fade. No purple. Max yellow. Max Pink. This knife is super easy to trade. Everybody wants this knife. Its hard to find this knife in a low float value condition. To tell if you have a True 90/10 check out the pictures below. This is one of the best knives you can have. Its all the way up there in the vast amount of knives.

Pros:
1. Max pink.
2. Max Yellow.
3. Best fade.

Cons:
1. Expensive.
2. Hard to get with a low float value.

Difficulty to Trade (Worst 1-10 Best): 10
