Kufsteiner Inntal

This map features the middle part of the beautiful Inn-valley in the area of the austrian city of Kufstein.
The Inn-valley got its name from the Inn river and stretches from the very south of Bavaria deeply into the austrian country of Tirol, the biggest city is Innsbruck approx. 50km south of Kufstein. Known for its beatiful landscape its very popular for hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities. The Kaisertal, a bordering valley of the well-known Kaisergebirge is located in the east.

While having quite difficult terrain with limited space to build a city, the mountains are rich of resources, while the flatlands are rich and fertile. It has a good infrastructure, caused by the throughgoing motorway A95 (german name) and the railway leading from Verona to Rosenheim, which contains the biggest stream of refugees coming to germany.

Further two air routes are leading through the map, the next big airports are located in Munich and Vienna.
Despite its only used for tourism these days, also a ship connection through the Inn was included.
