Radiant Crafting Guide

Hello everyone, This guide contains lots of information on how to craft radiant weapons, faces, or hats in trove! It also includes all the resources you will need to craft Forged Souls, and some stratagies I may have.

Basic Information

Things you should know before reading this guide are when you place a shadow item into the forge and upgrade it, it will raise the star bar by one star. Your item needs to have 5 stars on it before you are able to upgrade it to the next tier. Now if you want to collect a forged soul of any kind you have to salvage a shadow level item of its respecting level: Shadow level 2 for Twice Forged, Shadow level 3 for Thrice Forged, Shadow level 4 for Quad Forged, Shadow level 5 for Penta Forged.

Making Twice-Forged Shadow Souls

To upgrade to a Twice-Forged Shadow Soul, you will need to begin with Shadow Rarity Items which can easily be obtained whilst doing dungeons in the Uber Dimensions. Now assuming we are starting off with 0Stars and SL1 Items (Shadow level), then the Ingredients you will need to forge a 0Star SL2 are the following:

• Flux: 875
  
• Eyes: 100
  
• SL1 Items: 1 - How many total SL1 Items you will need for upgrading

This sets the worth of the item to 875 Flux, 100 Eyes, and 1 SR Item.
Now you have an SL2 0Star Item! Congratulations! Throw this bad boy into the Loot Collector to obtain probably your first Twice-Forged Shadow Soul! Congratulations!

Making Thrice-Forged Shadow Souls

Now for this soul you will need:

• Flux: 750
  
• Eyes: 75
  
• 2 T2FS (Twice-Forged Shadow Souls)
  
• SL1 Items: 3 (one for each TFS:2, and one for the item in which you are upgrading:1)

And congratulations! You now upgraded that shabby little SL2 item into an SL3 Item! Throw this thing into the Loot Collector and bam! T3FS!
Now this sets the worth of one T3FS to 2500 Flux, 275 Eyes, and 3 SR Items.

Making Quad-Forged Shadow Souls

Now for this soul you will need:

• Flux: 1250
  
• Eyes: 150
  
• 2 T3FS
  
• SL1 Items: 7

And congratulations! You now upgraded your SL3 item into an SL4 Item! Throw this thing into the Loot Collector and collect your Quad-Forged Soul!
Now this sets the worth of one T4FS to 6250 Flux, 700 Eyes, and 7 SR Items.

Making Penta-Forged Shadow Souls

Now for this soul you will need:

• Flux: 2000
  
• Eyes: 250
  
• 2 T4FS
  
• SL1 Items: 15

And congratulations! You now upgraded your SL4 item into an SL5 Item! Throw this thing into the Loot Collector and collect your Penta-Forged Soul!
Now this sets the worth of one T5FS to 12500 Flux, 1650 Eyes, and 15 SR Items.

Upgrading to Radiant

Now for the fun part! Here are the ingrediants to upgrading to a Radiant:

• Three T5FS - Holy cow!
  
• Three Purifying Dragon Flames (Picture on the left)

Fantastic, you made it all the way from shabby T2FS to a shimmering piece of artwork with beautiful effects that make anyone jealous.
Your brand new Radiant is now worth 67,500 Flux and 4950 Eyes.

But wait, there's more! You will soon find that you Radiant has only one star on it. Now the ingredients to upgrade your radiant by one star is:

• One Purifying Dragon Soul
  
• 1,000 Flux

You will have to repeat this 5 times until you reach the5th and final star.

Variables and your Savings

The facts and numbers in the previous sections are the full price you will be paying, BUT! You can save a lot of flux in this next section. The very first way you can save flux is when you are putting the Shadow Level Items into the loot collector it gives you back some flux as well as your soul! here are the flux return rates for each Shadow quality item:

• 0Star SL2: 100 Flux and 7 Eyes
  
• 0Star SL3: 400 Flux 7 Eyes
  
• 0Star SL4: 1,000 Flux 7 Eyes
  
• 0Star SL5: N/A

Another way I go about saving some flux and eyes is when a shadow drops from a chest I check the shadow level and how many stars it has. I keep the shadows with at least 3 or more stars, but this is completely up to you.

Olego is right, since you're not taking it into consideration, your calculations are wrong.

You need "3" items of previous tier to go to the next. And so for making thrice: 2 twice-forged, S2 upgraded to 5 stars. So 3xTwice+cost of 5 star upgrade(5*150).

The real cost for all above thrice, assuming you upgrade from shadow 0 every time:

Thrice: 3375f
Quad: 12125f
Penta: 36375f.
Radiant: 145500f.

Is it me got something wrong, or there's an error. Look: To make |2 Twice-forged| you need |2 Shadow (0 stars) items| + |875 flux x2|. Then, you need item which will be upgraded to 3. So, you need to upgrade it to level 2 (5 stars). This means you need 875 flux (to get it to level 2 (0 stars)), + 750 flux (to get it to level 2 (5 stars)). Then you'd have it. Shadow item level 3. Now you can deconstruct it to get 1 Thrice-forged. Let's calculate how much flux it took. 875 x 2 + 875 + 750 = 3375. 3375 flux just to get one Thrice-forged. And in your guide it says that you need 2500 flux to get one Thrice-forged. Even if you get 400 flux for deconstructing Shadow level 3 item, and 100 flux + 100 flux for deconstructing 2 Shadow Level 2 items, it's still 3375 - 400 - 100 -100 = 2775 flux.

I guess if there's a mistake at Thrice-forged, there is mistakes at other ones.

It's like you calculated without including in price of leveling third item from 0 star level 1 to 5 star level 2.

You dont need the Item to be 5 stars it just needs the shadow level and this is not includeing the salvaged flux.
