This guide explains how to create several miscellaneous content types for Unturned.

Intro
These are a few of the more obscure content types in Unturned that the base game does not have many of, but can be configured or created from scratch as instructed below:
General
This guide assumes that you have seen how to export objects from Unity 5 for use in Unturned. The process is exactly the same, but rather than following the object format you will follow the format specified. The object guide can be found: Here
Effects
Data:
  • ID: The effect ID is used to spawn it into the game, and is represented as an unsigned 16 bit integer meaning the range [0, 65535]. It is recommended not to use a value less than 200 as those are reserved for official content.
  • Gore: Specified if this should be hidden with gore disabled.
  • Splatter: How many splatter textures there are.
  • Splatters: How many splatters to spawn. This should be renamed.
  • Lifetime: How long the effect lasts.
  • Static: Specified if audio can be randomized a bit.
Objects:
  • GameObject named "Effect" tagged and layered with 3 and 12 respectively. Audiosources, animations and particle systems can be attached to this.
  • Splatter_# tagged and layered with 3 and 12 respectively. If splatters are enabled this is spawned and aligned along the Z axis.
Resources
Data:
  • ID: The resource ID is used to spawn it into the game, and is represented as an unsigned 16 bit integer meaning the range [0, 65535]. It is recommended not to use a value less than 50 as those are reserved for official content.
  • Health: How much health to spawn with.
  • Radius: The radius to check when baking.
  • Scale: How much to scale by.
  • Explosion: The effect ID to spawn when destroyed.
  • Log: The log item ID to spawn when destroyed.
  • Stick: The stick item ID to spawn when destroyed.
  • Forage: Specified if this can be foraged.
Objects:
  • GameObjects named "Resource" and "Stump" tagged and layered on 5, 14, 3 and 12 respectively. If this is forageable there should be a transform named "Forage".
  • GameObjects named "Resource_Clip" and "Stump_Clip" identical to Resource and Stump, but only with collision for the server.
Animals
Data:
  • ID: The animal ID is used to spawn it into the game, and is represented as an unsigned 16 bit integer meaning the range [0, 65535]. It is recommended not to use a value less than 50 as those are reserved for official content.
  • Health: How much health to spawn with.
  • Meat: The meat item ID to spawn when dead.
  • Pelt: The pelt item ID to spawn when dead.
  • Roars: Number of attacking sounds available.
  • Panics: Number of defending sounds available.
  • Behaviour: Offense, Ignore or Defense. Offense will attack, ignore will run when damaged and defense will run when alerted.
Objects:
  • GameObject named "Animal_Client" with a capsule collider and kinematic rigidbody. It needs a child named "Character" with an Animation component and animations named "Eat", "Glance_0", "Glance_1", "Idle", "Run", "Startle", "Walk" and "Attack" (if offensive). Any bones for the skeleton need box triggers with kinematic rigidbodies and should be tagged and layered with 24 and 23 respectively.
  • GameObject named "Animal_Server" identical to the client, but with a character controller rather than the capsule collider and rigidbody.
  • GameObject named "Animal_Dedicated" with only a character controller.
  • GameObject named "Ragdoll" spawned after death.
  • AudioClips named "Roar_#" and "Panic_#" based on roar and panic values.

i know this is unrealated but is it possibly to add in a lan server or co-op so i could play with friends without having to try to figure out how to create a server. im refering to using your single player map as a temp and allowing others on your maps. (private server)
