Opis
Since the fall of Arlathan, the Dalish have sought to preserve their elven heritage by any means necessary. This mod lets you play as the forest-dwelling elves from Bioware's Dragon Age franchise.

Feel free to check out the mod's forum page
here[forums.civfanatics.com].

*note: there may be typos; I am only human after all. If you spot any, please let me know, so that I can fix them.

Why not leave a rating? If you like the mod, let people know. If you don't like the mod, it's still good to let people know, right? (Though if you don't like it, it would help to let me know why, so I can fix it).

Special Thanks:

  • Civitar, for the elven unit models. Check out his Warhammer mod WIP here[forums.civfanatics.com] (I'm making some of the icons for it)

  • LeeS/Ishipp, for helping with some trouble-shooting. Check out his Civ-linked Great General name mod here

  • Nomad or What, for his Sorceress model, which I reskinned for the Keeper. Check the forum page for that model here[forums.civfanatics.com]

  • Papyrus for recording the Dawn of Man speech. Check out his Gravity Falls mod here.

Soundtrack
I've put together a mod that adds music from the Dragon Age series to the game. It's compatible with any of my Dragon Age mods, or the Qunari and Darkspawn mods put together by Gunaka. Unfortunately, it's too big to upload to Steam Workshop, so if you want it, you'll have to download it here[www.dropbox.com]

on the page it says great general, but in the photos it says the keeper replaces the great prophet

I just started a new game as the Dalish, and when my warrior got upgraded via ruins into a spearman, the model disappeared. I can still control the unit, since the icon for it is still there, but the model is gone. Any idea how to fix this?

I believe I've solved the disappearing cities issue! Go into the mod directory/XML/UnitReplacements/UnitArtInfoCulturalVariation.xml and delete
<Buildings>
<Update>
<Set ArtInfoCulturalVariation="false"/>
<Where Type="BUILDING_COLOSSEUM"/>
</Update>
</Buildings>
I don't know if this served another purpose, or if deleting this will raise other issues, but I do know that my cities were still there after building colosseum after I did this

I've got the problem, the mod itself isn't dowloading and furthermore the direct link on civfanatics is broken. Could anybody help me?

Unfortunatly I think I have a good reason to say that the bug of disappearing cities is still present because I have the same problem as nicovallejos, one of my city vanished after building a coloseum(the only building which had this effect as far as I know)
PS : Sorry if you are already well aware of that issue.

They were always intended to be both faith and war focused; thus the Archery bonus.

Will that change the focus of the Dalish from faith generation to warfare? Right now several of their bonuses are focused on building faith which is supposed to spawn specialized religious units. If the keeper is now a general the best way to create them is to go to war a lot.

Alright; so I found the problem. It turns out that you actually can not replace the Great Prophet without a LOT of complex scripting. So, I've changed the Keeper to be a Great General replacement that can spread and found religions.
