Batman: Arkham Knight - Playable Characters Mod Free Roam - Updated 2024

How to create it?

So here's how to quickly create the mod.
Open a text document on your desktop and copy the following:

After that make sure to save the file as BmInput.ini and not as BmInput.ini.txt
Now you can copy the file to following directory: Batman Arkham Knight/DLC\356474\Content\BmGame\Config
If there's no folder called 356474 copy the file to 313100\Content\BmGame\Config
If you have a different numbered folder make sure to copy the file to Content\BmGame\Config

Characters Selection

• Start a new game or load your savegame MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING THIS and from the main menu or during the game press the button to play as your favorite character:

F1 - Red Hood [Require DLC]
F2 - Harley Quinn [Require DLC]
F3 - Nightwing
F4 - Robin
F5 - Azrael
F6 - Bruce Wayne
F7 - Catwoman
F8 - Commissioner Gordon
F9 - Joker
F10 - GCPD Officer Owens
F11 - Batman

Load the last checkpoint to make thugs appear in the streets

Uninstall or Restore The Default Character

To restore the to Batman character:
You can press F11 to be a Batman

To uninstall:
Delete "BmInput.ini" that is located at "313100 or 356474\Content\BmGame\Config"

FAQ

Q: All characters can fly?
A: No, because they don't have wings and this makes it not easy to explore the city.

Q: All characters can use remote grapple?
A: Most of them can use it.

Q: All characters have same gadgets?
A: No, every character has a different gadgets and some don't have any gadgets.

Q: Do i need DLC to play with a character?
A: Yes, for Red Hood Harley Quinn.

Hey, followed the instructions as you typed them. I hit F1 randomly to play as Red Hood (I have the DLCs) both ingame and in the main menu. It showed the loading screen and then crashed after it finished loading. Was this somehow patched?

This mod doesn't support a controller. You must use a keyboard to switch between the characters, and then you can use a controller to play.

I realize this is a very old thread, so I'm unlikely to hear anything back. But is there anyway to modify this for use with a controller (whether cycling through characters or choosing) and add Batgirl to the list?
