The Line of Duty [Locations]

Firefighter Locations for "The Line of Duty" quest.

Preface

Welcome to The Line of Duty walkthrough guide. This side quest is given during the beginning of the game, during the main story quest, when you are asked to go to the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) building.

There are a total of 15 Firefighters and the Fire Chief spread amongst the three (3) islands that need to be rescued.

The game directs you to the first firefighter which is at Dixon Docks on Bleake Island. From here, the idea is to find the rest of the firefightersthrough listening to comm chat and searching groups of thugs in generally concealed areas. This is done by either being close enough for the game to mark it or searching in detective mode to see the groups holding them hostage.

For this guide, I will be provide an image for each map area marking all of locations. I will also be following a numbering system on the map that will give more information below the map about the location. This guide will be split into each Island location.

NOTE: The firefighters can be found in any order prior to finding the Fire Chief, you just need all of them.

"After I finished the main story I still had some firefighters unaccounted for. I found that if I quit to the main menu and came back in, it would say "new intel available" and would reveal a firefighters location for me. After I rescued that one I'd quit back to the main menu again."

Bleake Island [6]

Given Bleake Island is the starting point, seems just as good a place as any to go with. As mentioned the start of the quest directs you to Firefighter Wood at Dixon Dock. He is in a security office near the front right side of entrance to the dock. From here you are on your own to find the rest.

Bleake Island contians 6 Firefighers that need to be rescued.

1. Dixon Dock (given by game)
   
2. Just northeast of the bridge to ACE Chemicals
   
3. mid-China Town on a terrace, part of the Terrace Garden Bar
   
4. south of the Watchtower right on the shortline
   
5. Falcone Shipping docks
   
6. crane docks on the east side, on the pier (believe they are part of Falcone's)

Miagani Island [4]

From Bleake Island, the main story will open up Miagani Island and the next best step for rescuing firefighers.

Miagani Island contians 4 Firefighers that need to be rescued.

1. Mercy bridge between Bleake / Miagani, closer to Miagani on the foot
   
2. southeast corner of the Gotham Herald building
   
3. Kingston, on a platform attached to the rail-track. Recommend obtaining the Remote Hacking Device to handle the (6) sentry guns
   
4. southeast corner of Wayne Tower

Founders' Island [6]

Lastly, the main story will open up Founders' Island and the final step for rescuing firefighers. For this last map, I had to append part of the map into the bottom left-hand corner.

Founders' Island contians 5 Firefighers and the Fire Chief that need to be rescued.

1. middle of Port Adams, south of Rykher Heights (shown)
   
2. Ryker Heights, westside on coastline near blimps
   
3. Ryker Heights, east side of building marked. You need to find a manhole cover across the street from the building to enter and drop below the road. There will be a wall that needs to be brought down with the batmobile and then through the subsequent door to where the grouping is.
   
4. on the rail-platform
   
5. very north port on the island, middle of the dock. The tower contains a sniper and one of the enemies as a jammer. NOTE: this one is required to be done before the final location containing the fire chief is accessible.
   
6. just south of the port from number 5, on the building
