Description
UPDATE: Horizon Blossom ( http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667294066 ) is a new skin I made that's an alternate version of Horizion. Give it a try if you liked Horizon.

The Audiosurf 2 workshop has no shortage of great skins with dark backgrounds. However, I personally prefer bright skins with vibrant colors because they're easier on my eyes and are better suited to my music collection that's composed mostly of slower-paced, uplifting pieces. Unfortunately, there just aren't many of those on the workshop today.

I made this skin mostly for my own use to suit my preferences. But I do sincerely hope you enjoy the skin as much as I do! =)

Some more information for those who may be interested:

I made this skin while trying to optimize the classic skin for performance on my new M-5Y71 laptop. This part was a success. It looks fairly decent on low settings and runs at over 60fps on 1080p on Core M integrated graphics, much better than the classic skin on low.

I also ended up discovering that changing the Skybox image can make a dramatic difference in the overall atmosphere of the skin.

The original version of the image I used for the skybox background is available here: http://www.pixiv.net/i/50572078
All I did was tweak it a bit for skybox usage. I think the end result is quite nice and hope more people start experimenting with skins using different skybox backgrounds.

The rest of the skin is nothing special. Just a mix of different elements from different official skins with some slight tweaks.

Mod used in the above screenshots is my Mono Legend Mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=194274009
Give it a try if you're interested in how Audiosurf feels when you emphasize hitting exclusively over dodging.
There's also a less hardcore 3 lane version: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=194274009

P.S. Video will have to wait till I'm back at my desktop. I can't play properly on Ultra using this laptop, and anything less would be doing the skin a disservice. Let me know if anyone else makes a video using the skin and would like me to link to it here!

@KillingDyl Thanks for that tip! I made some adjustments to the flashsizescaler variable in the new skin.

This skin is simply awesome! Love the colours used in this skin.

@Kaon Was enjoying the skin and decided to look at some other skins. Found this line of code that helps with the flashing problem.

airdebris_flashsizescaler = .2,

the particles still flash, but the flashes are smaller and i assume if you put it down to 0 it would disable the flashing, but that isnt as much fun!

I like it, although it seems a little plain. Also, the lighting on the power pellets seems very strange.

I love the theme and color palette this skin offers, but I found it difficult to scan the puzzle grid on mono. I frequently found myself wondering, "Is that six blocks or is it full?"

Skin is beautiful to play through, though I personally would prefer the camera to be a bit higher up. Still so pretty though c:

This skin is beautiful! I just wish it had better blocks. I think that about most of the skins though.

@Kagerou
Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any ways to disable just the flash.

However, reducing the the air debris number (currently 1000) in this line:
airdebris_count = ifhifi(1000,0)
Should reduce the effect of the flash. Or you can set it to 0 to remove the flash completely, along with all the air debris.

@coldchemical
The reflections' opaqueness also doesn't seem to be directly configurable, but it does happen to be corelated to the opacity of the road surface color (currrently 125) in this line:
color = {r=255,g=255,b=255,a=125}
My last update increased it slightly from 100 to 125, and should have made the reflections a bit less opaque, but you can try experimenting with even higher values to suit your preferences. Setting it to 255 removes reflections completely, but makes the road surface 100% opaque as well.
