This Guide Provides Cheat Codes & Secrets for both Classic NES & Remastered Versions of DuckTales.

On August 8th, 2019, the Remastered Version has been Discontinued Digitally & was only available for Purchase Directly for Consoles, but on March 3, 2020, this game has been Reinstated Digitally.

1. Cheat Codes
=NES Soundtrack=
PC Version:
Successfully complete the game on the Normal difficulty to unlock the original NES music for stage select and the original stages at the options menu.

PS3 Version:
At the CAPCOM Logo Screen: Press down, R1, up, L1, [], X.
Enter the option menu to toggle on or off.

Full Money Bin: Collect $100,000,000 through the entire Game on any Difficulty.
(HINT: If you play on Normal or Harder, you'll get a Cash Bonus after you complete Each Level)

Take 1/2 a heart of damage at a time
Slower enemies
Maximum of 8 hearts possible

2. Background Story - Instruction Manual


World class millionaire Scrooge McDuck is well-known for being an explorer and part-time archeologist. His never-ending search for rare artifacts always leads him down the path of adventure and around the globe to mysterious and exciting places! With the help of his nephews, Scrooge needs to find five lost treasures that were scattered throughout the world. There is nowhere Scrooge won't go, from the jungles of the Amazon or the snow-topped peaks of the Himalayas, to the haunted houses of Transylvania and subterranean mines of Africa... even to the surface of the Moon! Can he find them all?

NES Version NOTE: After you defeat Count Dracula, you must climb as fast as you can to Reach all 5 Treasures & The Treasure Chest first before Magica DeSpell and Flintheart Glomgold to win the game otherwise you'll get the Bad Ending (in which you have no money). To get the True Ending, you'll need collect $10,000,000 Million throughout the entire game.

Remastered Version NOTE: After you defeat Count Dracula, you must climb as fast as you can to Reach the Number One Dime first before Magica DeSpell and Flintheart Glomgold then asend away from the rising lava to Reach Launchpad McQuack & complete the game.

If I'm not mistaken in the original you have to redo the boss if you lose the race to the top, you get the bad ending if you have no money when you touch the chest
