Introduction To Pootis Birds
Hello,

Welcome to this informative guide on one of natures beauties, The Pootis BIrd.

The Pootis Bird are normally passive creatures and are Endangered because of this. Finding one is a accomplishable feat but it is rare to aswell.

The predators of the Pootis Bird are the common F2P noobs and the Tryharder. The prey if the Bird are sandviches and (depending on the breed) the preadators themselves.

For most people, hunting these Creatures are punsihable by death and exile from a group of friendlies. Befriending these creatures is also quite easy, the bigger and more protective you are of these Birds, the more likely they will follow you around for protection, or the cuter and more approchable a player looks, the more chance you have of these birds coming to you.

Without further ado, let's get this guide underway.

The Common Pootis Bird
The Common Pootis Bird
It's sole goal in life is to find a safe and secluded area where it can eat its sandviches and raise its young, they normally welcome friends with open arms (or is it wings?) into there safe area. At the first hint of trouble such as gunfire or damage, this Pootis Bird would flee, often leaving behind friends if necissary.

Some would mistake these creatures for cowards and unloyal traitors, the Bird however, would sometimes ( depending on the level of friendship between a player) sacrifice its own life for the player, even killing the enemy when needed.

This Pootis Bird Is Truely A Foe To Be Reckoned With

Normally Found On Trade Servers Or Maps With Hard To Reach Spaces.

Latin Name:
Pootis Minumas
The Giant Pootis Bird
The Giant Pootis Bird
A extaordinarily rare breed of Pootis Bird, so much so that one photo that hasn't been altered is in exsitance and it can be found on this section of the guide.

Very little is known about this bird, but from studying the picture, it seems to enjoy standing out from the normal birds and enjoys being out in the open.

This breed of bird most possibly has no known preadators and most likely a lot of prey, unknown wether this bird is friendly or not.

Taken by a amatuer photographer in a hurry, the Giant Pootis Bird is recognisable by its massive head
The Giant Pootis Bird
The Pootling
The Pootling
This is a recently born Pootis Bird which is most commonly noted for resting on a full grown birds shoulder. Normally the mother bird. These small birds are how researchers can tell the female and the male Pootis Birds apart.

These small birds would normally stay on their mothers' shoulder until the mother is either killed or the Pootling becomes a full grown bird.

The Pootling is known for being a quiet and unmoving bird that seems to simply admire the work that the mother is doing, feeding both its Pootling and itself.

The Pootling is a cute, tiny bird who loves to learn the ways of a Pootis Bird from its mother.

The Flock Pootis Birds
The Flock Pootis Birds
These birds are rare to find, they are hard to kill, and are extremely aggresive towards other birds, some humans also.

These birds are normally found admist a large gunfighting map. They flock in the thousands and are the loudest type of Pootis Bird. Constantly yelling for a dispenser, when and enginner gives them one, that specific engineer is like a god to the birds.

They are both headless and do not breed like a regular bird for none have Pootlings.

The chase away any pyro, solider, demoman or spy that comes within their territory. They normally mark their territory by marking sprays to do with pootis birds on the ground, walls or roof (depending on the size of the flock).

They are extremely low in intelligence and will first be attacking someone and then giving them praise. All it takes is a sandvich or a dispencer to befriend these birds. Normally unpopular outside the enginner and heavy classes.

You can clearly see these poor duo of women running from a flock, one takes a picture, for this is a rare sight.

The Evil Pootis Bird
The Evil Pootis Bird

Little is known about this bird

It is an amazing hunter and never lets someone see it and live.

Only a pootling of this bird has been photographed, the photographer barely escaped with his life.

He described the evil bird as being giant, and has its head a blood red colour, holding a brass beast, fists of steal and an unknown shotgun.

All Pootis Birds appear male, leading to the misconception that there are no female Pootis Birds. However, Mann Co. scientists have found that all though they all appear male, many of them are actually female. AND A SIDE NOTE: Killing a Pootis Bird will result in a court martial for all mercs involved in the killing, and will end in a death sentence. The only exceptions are Evil Pootis Birds, which the President has ordered to be exterminated.

I have seen several male Pootis birds with Pootlings on their shoulders. Chances are it is because their mother has been killed or the mother has left the server.
