A Guide that shows how to become and Legendary Eagle or higher in CSGO with some helpful yet easy tips, as well as personal experience from myself!

INTRO Becoming an LE or higher is a journey that requires dedication and practice, and for people coming from DMG or MGE, will take time. Congratulations on getting this far in the CSGO Ranking system, and now it is time for you to take the next step.

TIPS AND TRICKS Getting to LE or higher can be achieved through skill, but there is an aspect that in every match making game has to be considered. One of the most important aspects of CS:GO is communication with the team, and that communication and competitive environment can make or break a game. Always have an open mind towards the teammates, and I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND having a team or a few people that you work well to que with. This may sound like nova talk, but I've seen friends lose their rank because of toxic teammates who throw when losing.

Know the smokes and callouts for a map inside and out, and go on the maps to learn angles and practice the smokes. A failed smoke can ruin a take and/or a plant, and destroy the momentum carrying a team forth. Be ready if a smoke fails to have that angle covered, and as I have previously covered, be ready to communicate with the team such a failure. Also, another important thing to have established prior to a game is the team roles, and to be able to cover the roles and not switch mid game.

SOME PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED As of creating this guide, I have deranged to DMG and back into LE once. LE is a fine line to walk, as there is a significant change into the skill level, and I at first found myself struggling in the rank, and for valid reason. Personally, I often only warmup for a few minutes at max and jump right into competitive. I would highly recommend going on a 1v1 server, HS only deathmatch, or any ESCA or CEVO (sry faceit) match, as it provides the high tension competitive environment with high skill levels, and rank doesn't matter as much in the environment. After the community competitive matches, I was able to play at my peak during comps, allowing for me to provide for my team in the best way possible and improve at my game. Also, something that I have talked to other people about is the crosshair. At this rank, I would expect that you have learned to perfect your spray somewhat with the rifles, and with this also comes the crosshair. Learn the strafe points for the weapons and stop using dynamic crosshairs, as well as dots. It is personal preference, but when a static crosshair with no dot is used, I (and other friends) tend to show a greater improvement in the game in a shorter amount of time. Getting a crosshair that fits your style is important, as the perfect crosshair can make the perfect aim!
