Bitexco Financial Tower

Standing at a height of 262.5 m, the Bitexco Financial Tower was built in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With construction reaching completion in 2010, this building became the tallest tower in Ho Chi Minh City, second tallest in Vietnam, and 124th in the world. Designed by French company AREP with architects Jean-Marie Duthilleul, Etienne Tricaud, and world renowned Venezuelan architect Carlos Zapata, who drew inspiration from Vietnam's national flower, the Lotus. It won a 2011 excellence in structure engineering award in the international structure over $100 million category. With 39,000 square meters of office space, and 10,000 square meters of retail space, this building helped to alleviate a drastic need for office space in Vietnam. The Bitexco tower is also equipped with 2 restaurants, a cinema, a bar, a convention center, and a helipad on the 52nd floor.
