I think this achievement is counting the number of locations you've visited. Instead of tracking what locations you've visited, off a list pre-DLC.
Now either that means that it is counting the number of maps you've unlocked rather than checking off a list, or that a bug caused it to trigger. I'm pretty sure I've unlocked more DLC maps than there were remaining areas left in the main game content though (since I reached the point of no return before doing the White March questline)... so I can't be sure.
I will add your comments, though, thank you! :)
1. Get Korgrak the Ogre (-6 prestige) right away to help with the minor adventure
2. Rush Adra Dragon (+8 prestige) and Llengrath (+15 prestige) after you have your minor and average adventures complete. At least don't leave Llengrath to the very end as even at 75 prestige you are still only 50% to get a legendary adventure.
3. Be sure to get the Aedyran Noblewoman (+6 prestige) hireling when she becomes available.
This was the last achievement I got before I uninstalled the game at 42/48 complete. The super-hard ones are not worth it for me due to system crash/power outage resulting in save file deletion on Trial of Iron.
