Go to your Documents folder.
From here navigate to this folder: My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config
Open the file "AliceEngine.ini". (It might be called DefaultEngine.ini instead)
Apply the following fixes:

Skip Intro Logos:
Find the section starting with "[FullScreenMovie]".
Change the following lines:
StartupMovies=Intro_EA.bik
StartupMovies=Intro_SH.bik
StartupMovies=TechLogo_Short.bik
to
;StartupMovies=Intro_EA.bik
;StartupMovies=Intro_SH.bik
;StartupMovies=TechLogo_Short.bik

Remove FPS Cap (normally set to 31 FPS):
Change the line:
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=31
to
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=60
or whatever the refresh rate of your monitor is.

Unlock Special Edition Weapons & Dresses DLC for Free:
Find the section starting with "[AliceGame.AliceGameEngine]".
Change the line:
GIsSpecialPCEdition=FALSE
to
GIsSpecialPCEdition=TRUE
Save and close the file.


To get the Alice 1 DLC (If it crashes) running try this

1. Create a new shortcut by right-clicking on the desktop and directing it to the .../Game/Alice1/bin/alice.exe

2. For the newly created shortcut in properties add the command -RunningFromAlice2 after the Target path:
Sample result should look similar to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Alice Madness Returns The Complete Collection\Game\Alice1\bin\alice.exe" -RunningFromAlice2
(Your target path should point to YOUR game installation location, which might be different. Don't just copy and paste this.)

3. This will allow you to run American McGee's Alice by simply using the shortcut, without having to launch through Madness Returns.
This also eliminated the "alice.exe not found" or ".../bin/alice.exe the parameter is missing" errors that users might experience while trying to launch through Alice: Madness Returns.
