Grimwater Hunting

Description
** AS OF 3/19/2016:
============================
- I will be performing rolling updates for all the "Grimwater" Mods. I will begin addressing compatibilty concerns, as well as updating each mod with more content and functionality.

- I will also begin working on creating other "Grimwater" Mods: Focusing on Herbalism, and Alchemy currently slated on the to-do. No expected release, but the updates to these two "Grimwater" Mods will be rolled out first.

- Updating these mods may take a bit of time, however not expected to be too long. The idea of the "Grimwater" Mods was to modify the vanilla Skyrim content (And Official DLC) to be more fleshed out and "meaningful" however not game-breakingly so.

- All "Grimwater" Mods are stand-alone and independent. You can interchange ANY "Grimwater" Mod at any time for flavor. I am currently going to work with feedback in regards to other mod compatibilities.
============================

Grimwater Hunting, or "GM Hunting", is a mod based around the vanilla hunting of Skyrim. GM Hunting looks to flesh out and add better functionality to the hunting of Skyrim and truly give it some purpose within the game without making the modification of Skyrim too extravagant and straying from the original game of Skyrim.

Upon completion of GM Hunting, all vanilla Skyrim drops will be altered to have more of a purpose within the game itself and better meld with the other GM Mods (Grimwater Cooking, and Grimwater Alchemy). It will also add a few more non-vanilla (modded) Skyrim drops within the game.

The GM Mod series stays small and compacted and primarily based around vanilla changes (although adding some more, but not 'too many') and remains separated into multiple mods to help with player customization and hopefully to aid with compatibility with other mods on the market.

*Please note: GM Hunting has recently released to public and is still actively being developed. Please be patient as we continue to update the modification past it's initial launch (V. 1.0). Stats will be altered, recipes will be added, and numerous things may change. Upon V. 1.0 launch, all vanilla drops have been altered and nothing else beyond that. It's a new mod! Bear with us!

*Comment, or start a discussion on what you wish to see within the mod and suggestions.

*Please see Change Notes for update changes to the mod.

GM Hunting does the following:
-Increases value of hides.
-Increases value to antlers.
-Meant to aid with GM Cooking* functionality. (Still works independently just fine!).
-Increases value of Hawk drops (Feathers, Beaks, etc.)
-New item drops from animals (Selling)

Sometimes it works for me, but sometimes it doesn't. Is it a matter of the load order or what? I really like your mods and I simply want to make them work. I have the same problem with GM cooking.

Awesome to hear, thank you for the feedback and also good timing! Hunting and Cooking are meant to compliment eachother. (Income from hunting and meats to create better meals that actually 'do' something since vanilla cooking served next to no purpose). Let me know how it goes, and if anything ever pops into your head or you notice something just toss me a comment.

Enjoy the mods!

I've been running The Salesman mod along with Hunting and Cooking - no confilcts. Salesman adjusts haggling with merchants overall to better reflect Speech skill. Rated up, and looking forward to Alchemy.

Correct, Horns and Antlers are also increased in selling price alongside all hides etc. End goal is to make hunting more profitable and worthwhile, however not adding three hundred new objects and creatures into the game in the process. While also maintaining the game feel and not 'breaking' the game by making 600 Gold per hide.

Selling price is still dependant on your bargaining skills etc, but the selling price ceiling is fairly higher. The more difficult the creature the better it'll all sell. (Saber Tooth, Bears, etc. sell far better than simply hunting deer). White coat versions of all animals sell slightly better than the price of their 'normal' counterparts as well.

A white fox will sell better than a normal fox.

I'm enjoying it as is - makes hunting worth the time and potential danger of tracking down the animals. Did you increase the price of tusks and horns along with the antlers?

@j.stenberg1280 Thanks for the reply. It's hard to develop (anything...) without feedback- negative, good or otherwise. If you've any recommendations and such feel free to hit me up. This mod hasn't been altered for some time since it's already been 'completed' but with no feedback there can't be any true changes.
