testroom_standards - Half-Life 2 Beta

Description
Author: Valve.
Content Required: None.

This is one of the many test maps found in the leaked version of Half-Life 2. It covers many basic features found in the retail product such as ladders, steps, stairs, water and a small room that has no lighting for proper flashlight use.

There are several props found in the map such as bottles, cans, barrels and two computers of varying size and design. All the doors found inside the map can be opened and will lead the varying rooms.

The version of this test map found in the Half-Life 2 Beta is also called "testroom_standards" which does not contain the pool of water or the two rooms that feature the darkness and gravity simulator and the original version contains two Alyx NPC's and the Health and Armor recharge stations.

UPDATE - 18/05/2015 - The Workshop upload has been updated so that now the map comes with a .NAV file. NPC's and Custom NPC's are now freely able to roam the map. They're also able to climb the set of stairs at the back of the map.
---

- The map is internally referred to as "testroom2.bsp" for those who want to operate by console and it can be found in the "Others" section of the map select screen.

All credit is due to their original creator(s); I do not claim this map as my own in any type of form.
