Enforce use of your dedicated video card for the WW1 Game Series
By M2H_Mike and 1 collaborators
First check if you have an AMD or NVIDIA Video card.

NVIDIA:
  • Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date.
  • Go to the nvidia driver settings (NVIDIA Cntrol Panel)

"Application profiles are accessible from within the NVIDIA Control Panel, under the
    Manage 3D Settings->Program Settings tab.
One of the attributes for each profile is Preferred graphics processor.
The Preferred graphics processor value will be either 1) Integrated, 2) High
Performance, or 3) Use global setting. Set this to: 2) High Performance. "

    AMD:
  • Make sure your AMD drivers are up to date.
  • See point 9 and onwards of the following guide to set your AMD drivers to maximum performance for the game: https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202305784

So If I have intel without any access to a driver, which I currently am. I cannot run the game at high fps, is there anyway to get around this problem.

@Commander Wolf: There's a section in the linked Serato article for Intel, but the main purpose of this guide is about forcing the game to use the Nvidia/AMD graphics card instead of the integrated Intel/AMD graphics on laptops.

You can't force the game to use something that your computer doesn't have.

What if I have Intel? what do I do then?

@[32][C]bottle: You'd have to connect your monitor to the Nvidia Graphics Card. It's usually a DVI, or it could be a HDMI, DisplayPort connection.

Adapters exist, like VGA to DVI but you'd be better off getting the right cable. Unless your monitor doesn't have any of the above inputs. (Which then you'd need a DVI to VGA adapter.)

Reinstalling your graphics card drivers should help. (I had a similar situation with Cataylst before.)

Nevermind. I found out that if you change the HDMI Cable to the spot where the GPU is, you'd be able to open the control panel.

I cannot seem to open my NVIDIA Control Panel; it says that I am not using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU.
