@Reykan It's actually not illegal. They're giving you consent to get paid because they also get a cut. Why would they sue you for doing what they let you do? Bethesda gets paid for mods as well, and the game.

@ valv and xeath: While valve is grabbing a cut of the cash, this is technically illegal, as valve paid to sell the games and bethesda gets a bit of every sale (at least i assume they do). In this case, Valve is making 100% profit off of bethesda's game, and thats a no-no. So are the modders, which is another no-no.

True, but bethesda made the game, so your using their product for profit. Then there's all the other copyrights you can run over, like Disney, DC/Marvel, and so forth. If you're not carefull, you can get your ass sued to hell and back.

A Co-worker recently told me of someone using mickey mouse stickers that they bought for their home-deco shop, they were planning on printing copies of the stickers that they bought. They thankfully were told by a friend, and had a lawyer confirm this, that though they paid for the stickers, using them in this way was illegal before Disney caught wind of it.

I know that this may be an issue, just all of us need to file a complaint so they at least give us an extra 25-30% of what we sell. it would be better, cursed hawkins im well aware of you being pissed off but your acting like a damned stormcloak dumbass. calm you fucking shit, what we all need to do is keep the modding payments optional and make it so we get 50-55-60% of what we sell it is a more decent price than only making 25% People i speak for everyone, im no legionair but we need to be more logical or we will fall into more violence

@Valwright10 how about you make a few mods for Skyrim to sell so you can find out that you get 25% of the money while Valve gets 75% so shut your fucking mouth you fucking Paid Mod supporting piece of shit

mod creators have every right to charge people to download there (mostly) amazing mods, if you dont like the fact that the creators are actualy earning something then dont buy the mod, all this 'Bob' crap is stupid and is making you all look like idiots with nothing better to do with their lives than sit around all day doing nothing but abusing someones right to earn money, and for gods sake, they dont actualy cost much! The most expensive one iv seen was only 3.45 or something so i dont kow why your treating it like an end-of-world crisis, and like @benppneb says, this Bob guy is overreacting!
