Quick Guide on a Battle Born army and a quick start Manual Combat needed Please Read to find out
Hello and thank you for reading my guide. This will be a short guide. Hope this helps you out. I will do my best to explain what I think is the best for the Necrophage race. When you first start try to found your city (depending on the game settings and difficulty) somewhere with enough Industry and Food (roughly 3-4 food, which is not bad considering the -1 food on terrain penalty) and about 8-10 Industry (if you can find more then that's even better). If you can found a spot with good science then that will be a plus.
With your hero try to get him/her to their next level as soon as you can and get the skill necrotic agriculture and set your hero as your governor to gain a 8+ bonus to food. This will ensure that you recieve your next pop as soon as you can. Research mill foundery and then seed storage to increase both your food and industry.
You will want to research

Then you will want to research

common fodder will allow you to have a -50% reduction on your army costs and -20% reduction on your hero costs. This will enable you to have a larger army than normal.

Once you research the proliferator, add 1-2 to your army (if you got the research Meritocratic Promotion allowing you to add an additional 2 to your unit). In combat (this is where manual is preferred) have your proliferators attack as many troops as they can (only let them attack each unit once for the Parasitism affect). and kill the enemy troops quickly before time runs out. You will gain a Battle Born for each unit killed in combat

you can quickly gain a Battle Born army add them to your garrisons, and attack your enemies with them, since they can be easily replaced, also you get a count to your cadavers for EACH enemy unit killed in combat. So if you killed 2 units then you will gain 2 out of 8 towards your next stock pile, which can be used later to gain pop quicker. (for mid to late game)

Thank you. That is what I was aiming for was a non spoiler. Most guides tend to spoil the game play, thus not making it fun to play, or that particular race. This was believe it or not was my very first guide that I have made.:steamhappy:

As a basic guide this is fantastic. Does not spoil the fun of finding out all there is to know about the Necrophage. 8/8 Cadavers for this one.
