Wildlife Photography Challenge

In this guide I will show you the locations for the animals that you need to photograph for the Wildlife Photography Challenge.

The Wildlife Photography Challenge is a new side mission for Franklin, which was introduced in the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC version for Returning Players. Completing the challenge rewards the player with the new Kraken submarine.

What is a 'Returning Player'?

Returning Player is a player who has previously completed the Prologue mission on Grand Theft Auto V for Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 and has played the game with their Social Club account linked to their Playstation Network ID or their Xbox Live Gamertag.

How to unlock the challenge?

To unlock the Wildlife Photography Challenge, you have to complete the first Strangers and Freaks mission for Beverly, called Paparazzo. After that you will get a text message from him saying that he has signed you up for the Wildlife Photography Challenge. Also at the same time you will get an email from the LS Tourist Board giving you all the details needed.

Submitting photographs to LS Tourist Board

Once you have found the animal that you need to photograph, open your Phone and click on Snapmatic. From here, zoom the camera on the animal and hit Enter (remember to read the submission rules below). After you have done this, hit Spacebar on your keyboard and choose 'LS Tourist Board' from the list of contacts.
Once they have received the photo (usually takes a couple of seconds) they will send you an email saying thank you for the submission and also a list of the animals that you already have photographed and the animals that you haven't photographed yet.

Submission rules:
- Animals must be centered in the picture
- Selfies are not eligible for submission
- Pictures captured with camera filters or borders will not be eligible for submission
- Only pictures with living animals will be accepted

Tips

- In most cases, it's recommended to leave your vehicle behind, instead of moving it right to the place where the animal is supposed to spawn in. In most cases, the animal only spawns when you are out of your vehicle and walking around. In some cases however, for example, the mountain lion, it is recommended that you have your vehicle with you so that you can climb on top of it once the mountain lion has spotted you (if it spots you, that is)

- If you scare the animal away, move a bit further away from the location and then go back to it. The animal shoud've respawned.

- Some of the locations, such as the Poodle/Pug/West Highland Terrier can spawn different types of animals. If you don't get the desired animal on the first try, walk a bit further away and return to the area.

- It is recommended to use a car/motorcycle for this, but a helicopter can also work. However, with the helicopter, you have to leave it pretty far away from the animal spawn locations, and you also might not be able to land on every area.

Boar

Grand Senora Desert: The boar can usually be found walking on a small road just outside of the Redwood Lights Track. Once you have arrived at the location, get out of the vehicle and walk around for a little bit for the boar to spawn, once it has spawned, let the boar come to you. If you start approaching it, you will most likely scare it off.
A cow can also be found on a nearby field.

Border Collie

Vespucci Canals - Prosperity St: Can be found sitting on the street while their owner is checking out a nearby shop.

Cat

West Vinewood: Can be found walking down the street and then curling up on the driveway. The cat can also come through the little gate on the buildings front yard fence.

Chicken Hawk

Grand Senora Desert: Can be found flying around near the dirt track off of the east highway out of Vinewood Hills.
A Crow and a Cormorant can also be found here.

Cormorant

Grand Senora Desert: Can be found flying around near the dirt track off of the east highway out of Vinewood Hills.
A Chicken-Hawk and a Crow can also be found here.

Cow

Grand Senora Desert: Can be found on a field just sout of the Redwood Lights Track.
A Boar can also be found on a nearby road.

Coyote

Sandy Shores: Can be found just south of the abandoned motel near Trevor's "office". Keep in mind that these animals can be scared of really easily, even the actions that the AI drivers do can cause these animals to run away from the area.

Crow

Grand Senora Desert: Can be found flying around near the dirt track off of the east highway out of Vinewood Hills.
A Chicken-Hawk and a Cormorant can also be found here.

Deer

Grand Senora Desert: A deer couple can be found on a small dirt road right next to the Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
A Cow can also be found from this location.

Hen

Paleto Bay: Can be found by a hen hutch in the back yard of a house.

Husky

Richman: Can be found in the back yard of a house.
A Retriever can also be found here.

Mountain Lion

Tongva Hills/Banham Canyon: Can be found from the canyon on the location picture above. A vehicle is recommended for this one so that you can climb on top of it in case the animals starts approaching you. If you get attacked before you have submitted the picture, it will not count.

Pig

Great Chaparral: Can be found in a fenced area on the pig farm.

Poodle

Morningwood/Richman: Can be found walking around the loop of the street with their owner.
A Pug and a West Higland Terrier can also be found here.

Pug

Morningwood/Richman: Can be found walking around the loop of the street with their owner.
A Poodle and a West Highland Terrier can also be found here.

Rabbit

Vinewood Hills: Can be found on the hills near Franklin's Vinewood Hills safehouse. This one can be a bit tricky to get, as the rabbits are very small and there's a lot of grass in this area, so it might take you a while until you get a photo of it.

Retriever

Richman: Can be found in the back yard of a house.
A Husky can also be found here.

Rottweiler

Vinewood Hills: Can be found on the backyard of Franklin's Vinewood Hills safehouse.

Seagull

Del Perro Beach: Can be found flying around Del Perro Pier.

West Highland Terrier

Morningwood/Richman: Can be found walking around the loop of the street with their owner.
A Pug and a Poodle can also be found here.

Kraken submersible

The Kraken submersible will be delivered to the Cape Catfish pier in San Chianski Mountain Range. After you have received the email that you've won, you will also be able to buy the Kraken from DockTease as Michael and Trevor for $1,325,000. After the purchase, it will become available at the purchaser's dock.
You can also buy the Kraken in GTA Online for $1,325,000 from DockTease.

As far as I know, you have to be a Returning Player to have this challange, if you're not a one of those players, you dont have this
