we can order memory for VGA like this
1st is Vram in VGA that most fastest for VGA for working
2nd is RAM it slower than Vram because CPU have to pass it from Vram
3rd is Virtual Memory(VM) it use HDD to working like RAM to help to store some memory but normal HDD (non-SSD) it very slow if compare with ram (ram have bandwidth more than 10 GB/s but HDD (non-SSD) have read/write speed about 50MB/s)
for gaming it's can make the game waiting VM to work when lacking of RAM
that why i don't like VM when it work :(
it "may be" as you think my ram usage minimum about 6GB for long play for long play it usage about 7.5GB and Windows alert me about low memory because i off Virtual Memory
Virtual Memory are very slow for HDD non SSD and when are working i got extreamly slow loading
UnrealiTy your VGA is better than me a bit did you missing some setting ? Resolution ? CPU ?
