Airport - Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) v1

Description
A precision approach path indicator (PAPI) consists of four sets of lights in a line perpendicular to the runway, usually mounted to the left side of the runway. [Wikipedia]

White (W) and red (R) lights indicate the pilot how far off the glide slope the aircraft is.

A mnemonic to remember the colors and their meaning is:
WWWW - White over White, you're high as a kite. / you'll fly all night
WWRR - Red over White, you're alright.
WRRR - White over Red, unsaid / you're under head
RRRR - Red over Red, you're dead.

Can be found under the airport category. To place it, draw a road on the left side of the runway. Place it and remove the road afterwards.

Update: I made the asset freely placable, you can find Version 2 at the following link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=423147209

I added Papi and when I attempt to place it near the runway, it states the object must be placed roadside.

@Karaya2 I'm not so sure, earlier today I had this error and tried with removing assets that i had added since the last time I played. And when I removed your asset I didn't get the error any more, but now when I have tried to run the game I'm getting the error again. So i'm not quite sure what the heck I'm doing wrong

@sk0941 I am pretty sure this error is not caused by my asset, because there is no script running on it at all. Ony a custom mesh with textures nothing else.

Looking at the error stack, this looks like an error caused by some terrain modification or something. Do you use any mod that alters the terrain in any way?

I was very impressed that I had not one error after today’s patch, because I use lots of mods and custom assets.

My city has both of my assets planted and there is absolutely no error showing up.

Are you my asset is the reason for your error? Did you disabled every other mod and used only this on, to get sure about it?

That's the error I get when I use this asset, could you see if there's something that you can do :)
